I agree, but I think the only way they can do it is change the laws and protocol to what is was when people from Europe first came here. One checked for health issues so they don’t bring it in the country. Two they’re here to work but not to take jobs from locals for less wages and speak English if needed where roofers probably don’t initially have to speak English if they’re all Hispanic or have a business but now a business that’s not threatening American business and  workers. They have to be picky. They also need to be actively learning  the language, the difference in laws and assimilate. The way they have it now, they either make it hard for certain sectors to get help or they let anybody in, criminals, gangs, spys, bums and welfare seekers.

I’ve seen how hard these migrants can work and some like roofers or similar fields some under paid or neglected. I saw one who was dropped off in 100 degree weather working to do a lot of landscaping work and sweating in the sun. No food or water with him After a lot of work he sat down in the shade. I grabbed a bottle of cold bottled water went over and knew he was taking refuge inside some bushes and asked him in Spanish if he wanted some cold water, it’s hot out here. Since it was so long since I spoke Spanish I couldn’t remember if cold or water came first but he got the message and came out of the bushes and grabbed the water.  It made me wonder though if he was one of those who owed cartel money for getting here. Why wouldn’t he at least carry water with him especially on a 100 plus degree day. If they could change laws they can get around cartel to get invited in to work have a work registry near the border that can bus them over and go from there. I think some of these places want to pay as least as possible is one reason and Mexico would have to not over charge for transport especially on a bus with multi people or take from the people doing the work. That and having somewhere to stay here for awhile for a job. If things work out they can go from there. But I don’t think they should be foremen or people in charge if hiring because they would by pass American workers no matter the race all together and be calling home wether there’s help or not and we’ll have a illegal scam going on.  A Mexican American told me she tried to work with south of the borders in agriculture and they gave her a hard time because she didn’t speak Spanish. I ask her, so they come to America and give you a hard time for speaking English? Ain’t that something.
