I guess I was dreaming of the question of the cross of Jesus and his what he was carrying went back to the scriptures that mention it.
The shroud will always be questioned so you have to go back to the scriptures. The only problem with that is people’s meaning of things and the way they talked was different back then. Like Jesus was hung from a tree. did they mean a literal tree or a cross or a piece of wood. I was made to believe that in Mathew for instance the the story of two people in the field, one was taken one was left behind. That it was meant one would be taken by God. But after I learned from a Jewish Christian that it’s not what it meant in their times. It meant that one of the crops would fail. One would be taken to harvest, one would be left behind. That’s something going on right now with political net zero interference.
Anyways the Bilirubin time wasn’t accurate as in trauma it could happen much faster, within a few hours and somewhat Alcohol which Jesus drank wine. Plus what other explanation.
I’m not sure if Jesus was the only one they pierced with a sword on the chest. It was a way of checking if they were still alive even ever so slight or dead, if they started to bleed. Or what I was taught as a child at another church.
The believe of whether it was a cross, one piece of wood or a tree is still a interpretation. Even a cross could be a interpretation.
I did not know about the light factor that the video showed towards the end. I wonder if that would correlate with seeing the light in near or after death.
The questions and interpretations go on. I think that was the only mystery I was ever interested in other than science.
John 19:16:18
Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.
17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
Mark 15:20–22,
20 And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.
The Crucifixion of Jesus
21 A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross. 22 They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”).
Luke 23:26-32
New International Version
The Crucifixion of Jesus
26 As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. 27 A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. 28 Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ 30 Then
“‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!”
and to the hills, “Cover us!”’[a]
31 For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”
32 Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed.
The wombs they never bore or breast that never nursed. Like if someone removed them!
