When they restart the mine it’s going to be on a two weeks on two weeks off basis. Even with all this new work they’ve done they still won’t have enough ore accessible to keep the mill running every day … at least until the Silver Coin deposit is developed. NEM’s earnings are coming out in 8 days. It will be somewhat of an indicator as to how PM stocks will react to, hopefully, substantially improved quarterly earnings.
Last quarter, NEM beat the estimate ($1.08) by some 29%, and came in at $1.40 for the quarter. The scum were still able to take the stock down almost $2 the day their earnings were released.

I remember when I started out as a nursing assistant as a teen learning everything from the ground floor up which I think nurses should do they don’t come in thinking it’s a cocktail party or understanding their job for many reasons and knowing when to help that may not occur to them not pull them from one thing to another before their finished. Anyways as a teen I asked this one patient I was helping into a chair I didn’t have any info on and asked her if she could stand to pivot her into a wheel chair. She weighed a little over 300 lbs. She said yes she can stand. So I helped her up and learned she couldn’t stand and grabbed her so she wouldn’t fall and didn’t know yet it’s okay to put them on the ground instead of if hurting yourself that’s not falling. So I held on and trying to take a couple of steps and got her into the chair without her falling. I couldn’t talk for a week after but I got her in that chair and learned something. Post op people who could normally stand think they can buy their knees can buckle or get dizzy so go BP so they should never be alone at first.
You know that have these chairs that lower to the ground now with a remote that lifts them up to the height of a chair or bed now. So if something should happen and they can’t get back up instead of calling the lift and assist program at the fire department and waiting if not a emergency. That can keep people in their home longer. Many wives can’t lift their husbands off the ground but could happen to them too.

I see today that China’s coal imports are down 6%. This does not signal robustness.
Will Xi get replaced? How shaky is his regime? Do we want to keep dealing with him or maybe someone else? At least he is a known factor. The Chinese assault ships haven’t landed in Taiwan. A deal has to be made or else China and the US both will be effed!

No big moves in anything this am. SM, Oil, Dollar, Rates – all flat. Bitcoin up 1.6%
Gold up $17, silver up $.08, sort of floating higher. PM shares are strong again in premarket. They put in a good showing yesterday while gold gave back a few bucks.
No eco data of significance today.
I’m going out on a limb. I think we’re on the cusp of a rally in silver that’s going to come out of nowhere and blow right thru $35 and head toward $40. It will catch all of us unawares. I’m going to call it the Heinz effect, because we’re going to ketchup.
I think the shares are telling us this.
NEM, AEM earnings next week. 4/23 & 4/24 respectively. They’ll set the tone.

Thanks for the tips. I actually got myself some chlorhexidine cleanser some time back and have tried it. Living in the tropics, fungal infections are not uncommon, and I have discovered that a good scrubbing with chlorhexidine kills it all in one pass! What a blessing to get rid of that damn itch.. immediately! And I have had lots of practice getting out of bed straight-legged. It’s painful to flex in the morning, and I always wait after getting upright for the BP to stabilize… and then handholds while I gently start to bear weight. I have crutches within reach, and some mornings I have had to use them when that hip joint refuses to bear weight and stabs me. So I’m well practiced at taking care of that bad joint. Can’t wait to get rid of it.
