Tariffs are having a major negative impact on China. The Tariff Cliff that Trump has negotiated has put China in a very difficult position. Other countries have 90 days to negotiate with the USA. But China has been hit even harder.

Sending messages to my teen grandson since 5:30 am here premarket. Easter vacation. Last year of school for him. They wanted to put him up in grades because the work was too easy but he wanted to stay with his own grade so he didn’t miss something but did move school independent study which saved him from the jab , so he can go faster. We do have to watch out with the Islamist. I can remember the same or similar debates at the time, re Ivermectin etc and Trump….I still think that was too early….yes he would have pleased his base, but he needed way more than his base to win, as he had to win huge, to beat the cheat…..It’s one where people will disagree forever….still as Ipso says, at least the Cackler lost.

Silver seems to like tech stronger, as it has recovered $.68 of overnight losses and is up $.11. Gold still down $7, hardly enough to make a ripple.

Dollar is weaker by 1/3% or so. Rates flat. Oil flat. Bitcoin up 1.5%

This all seems more like normal market action, or shall I say “pre-tariff” action. 🙂

PM shares are steady in premarket, silver shares doing better than gold. Early action is a “win-win” for us if shares hold up with the SM despite metals a bit weaker.

It will be interesting to see how they deal with pharmaceuticals, because we are vulnerable there. Incredibly stupid to leave our country susceptible to shortages of meds or chips or rare earths, but I suppose when you are trying to destroy a country and its people, that’s what you do. That, and importing 20 million people from cultures around the world that are completely different than ours.

Could be worse though. They could have handed us over to Islam, like they did in Europe. I think we can expect Jihad there within 5 years. Sooner if we cut NATO loose like we should.

Keep your immune system up till then. Let them know which pain meds agree with you. Keep that leg aligned and make sure he keeps the suture area cleaned and covered everyday because of super bugs floating around. Might be good to have someone bring your phone or computer for something to do after the first couple of days. Yeah anesthesia plus added pain meds can make you a little loopy and sometimes funny and not even remember. Hope everything goes well. There’s different types. One leaves a longer suture one leaves a smaller one. The ones with the small sutures tend to heal faster with less intervention and drainage which is mild so don’t let that bother you but just don’t let it sit there to prevent infection.
