but the Fed is going to buckle and cut rates in June, probably surprising everyone but JPM, Goldman and Blackrock. They need lower rates and a weaker dollar. So does the Zimbabwe stock market. The dollar is drifting lower and sure enough the algo’s were triggered to buy the SM futures.

I’m waiting for the shoe to drop here this am, it seems a little too controlled and quiet. PM’s almost look like a normal market. A couple months ago they would sell the open. No idea what they’ll do today.

Fortunately pm’s are up 1/2% and seem to be trying to figure things out. Dollar is flat, rates down 2 ticks. SM futures up a little, Bitcoin flat.
Pretty much a vanilla reaction, hopefully the bulls take charge. I think we can expect a raid or three at some point, either before the SM opens, just after, but they will come. They always do.
For now, just happy we’re not getting creamed.

Going from here, first it will be silver (soon), and then gold is going to surge again, and then oil (all three should move big into next year), because of all the money the a$$holes in charge are going to print this year to try and keep Trump out of office (it’s going to blow another major bubble – especially if that includes WWIII).
They are printing now in not so obvious ways to fool the public – but that could change soon in spite of increasing inflationary pressure – but it doesn’t have to – witness silver today (the past few weeks).
If it does change – if they cut rates before inflation measures settle down – the bubbles would be incredible – especially in PMs and commodities.

Bloomberg talking heads are asking how are the Feds gonna lower rates in June and some saying they need to raise rates. Trying to bring gold price down isn’t gonna change that or the problems they caused.
Pento thinks we’re in a melt up so to speak too but the crash, or recession could be sooner than later, around June or July. At what time he will be short and back in dollar that can make a lot of money if you get your timing right, also short term bonds again no help change to long term or Treasury s. I don’t know about bonds but treasuries should be paid. But after that comes back up the truck on gold. Similar to Hunter and others but Pento is trying to time it with financial data he can read pretty well. If that’s so close this could be more of a parabolic run it would seem.
I would think we’ll get some short covering into the close, the shares have held up better than I would have thought.
PPI inflation numbers come out in the morning, I can’t imagine they’ll be any better.
ZH has an article about how terrible the 10 yr. auction was today. I don’t think we can be too far from QE in the bond market. I don’t think they can let rates run in any meaningful way with the level of gov’t. debt out there. Eventually the Fed and their bloodsucking banks will own all the treasury debt.
Ipso- Ultimately inflation will be our friend because it will be the demise of the dollar. I’d rather not see runaway inflation but fair value in the metals. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem the scum will allow that. They’ll destroy the dollar first I suspect.
