I know but with that kinda weight they’d have to do some real thinking. If they try to back paddle when it’s forward moving it’s going to get more rocky and harder to handle. In the beginning farther from the bridge they could of started turning it. I wonder why they were headed towards it in the first place when the news said they were heading out for 30 days at sea so fueled up.  Would of been better to run into land than that bridge. I guess they corrected to hight of bridge 185 feet. At 60 ft where my kids used to jump and the 5 yr old jumping 20 feet along with a adult the 60 foot my son hit wrong once doing flips was coughing up a little blood. Cliffs,  I guess 2 survivors they pulled out of the water who knew how to land. You don’t look down before you hit the water.Bjt that’s like general to 100 ft jumps, this was now corrected to 185 Ft. 6 that they know of still missing.
