I guess he didn’t pay attention to the Fed in 1980 where interest rates got so high and killed the housing market for the sellers you could of got a lot of CDs or similar with pay outs at different dates and different years out at really good interest. A older friend and millionaire of my great aunt told me back in 2000 her husband, they were Hungarian, he was even cashing in CDs up to then. After I moved we lost each other’s phone and address or I would of asked him what he was going to do next.
