It’s probably not my place to say anything about how you “fell for” gold, but that has seldom swayed me from commenting anyway🙂, so I will venture that somewhere along the line you made a rational decision – after observing the creation of unfathomable quantities of fiat currencies created ‘out of thin air as debt”.
The decision being that PMs are the logical choice as the best medium of exchange – period!
It was as true in Aristotle’s day as it is today.
The best Medium of Exchange has specific properties that only Precious metals can satisty:
- CONSISTENCY
- CONVENIENCE
- DURABLE
- DIVISIBLE
- Have INTRINSIC Value
- Cannot be created out of thin air as Debt
