It’s all subjective. If I were in those countries during that time I’d be investing in foreign markets like the US with the strongest dollar. Having the stocks go up and paid with worthless money be Germany or Zimbabwe wouldn’t mean much.
In fact from what little I know our market had to be shut down back when because Europe et all we’re buying US stocks and wanted it in our gold to use it in there’s.
We may post things on peoples perspectives on what if’s but it’s important right now to stay focused on what real and not get misled down the wrong path. The time will come when the masses will act and then we can base on what the market perceives but right now people are on the fence abs we have people as far as PMs working to keep it down for their benefit. So until then being ahead of the game so to speak we have to stay on focus and what the charts are forming, inflation, how the Fed is reacting to inflation, supply problems, civil unrest, lawlessness and lefties that will only lead to more lawlessness who think communism is a free ride and more economic decline and the same with open borders. It’s not gonna be easy or one issue. People are currently trying to move out of the dollar like Russia China Mid East and so forth while currently due to war it’s a safe haven for now. If the dollar goes down then yeah emerging markets can profit but now Covid impacted them. They need to wake up to that game being played on them by other forces if they haven’t already.

This could be dangerous to the pocketbooks of everyone who owns mines in Mali, Ghana etc. Besides that it’s a disaster for everyone who lives there as well. Not much immediately going on but something to watch.

These countries are not “colonies” anymore and have had their independence for many years.

Some plans and ideas work good for the short term, 30-40-50 years, but bad for the long term. I remember reading something about a President asking Lord Maynard Keynes about an idea or plan or solution, (for the depression?) “But what about the future with this plan”? China is throwing gas on the rapidly ending and reversal of the 50 year old supply chain habits, and resulting inflation crises with their current policies that will be felt across the world, until supply chains become cheaper and more local to where they are needed.

For example, if each and every country produced its own TV sets, shoes and socks, each country would have more work and be better off. The global shipping industry that benefited for decades would be screwed.

I wonder if he thinks or hinting to the Fed reversing the interest rate hikes with inflation, supply shortages and delays plus possible food shortages with no fertilizer coming from Russia and a drought in some areas. Now China port closed presently. People still reading the inverse yield curve expecting a recession that usually comes a year or two after.
I don’t see that a easy street and travel depended on Covid restrictions as well as there own shortages with mandatory vaccines for workers and ships for both employees and travelers.

Volume, I noticed that too in the shares this morning which was a little worrying short term but in first majestic case amazingly picked up by the end of the day. I hope it gets past the resistance of 14:50 it reached and pushed back down a few times this time and breaks through tomorrow or soon.

Cost to truckers could rise another 30%
