Very well stated Ororeef! It is beyond sad, that people don’t see what is happening now, and what transpired there previously to bring us to this point. This is the outcome of inept or ” stolen ” leadership through out the western world, especially here in the USA,  that are filled with there own averice, it is never in their minds to protect their own peoples. All the people that can’t conceptualize these events, will come to understand the last words of your posting, pestilence, and starvation.

I used to buy stocks which were close to being mines but that strategy was a disaster. Once started many of them couldn’t make a profit. Think Midway, Rubicon, Pure Gold Mining and there were others. I lost my as# on these. I think the sweet spot is pre producers or established miners, nothing in between.

Here we go again. But for how long and how high? The last time they raised them from 1970 to 1982 about 5% to 18% on a variable rate. Everybody wanted the cash to deposit.
They killed the stock market prices, house prices, killed antiques collectibles gold and silver etc. The wildcard is if the economy starts crashing hard they’ll have to drop rates again.

During the 1970s like they strangled parts of the economy until the eyes were bulging and near death, then they release the grip and get a relief rally. After 1982 a series of booms and busts with stocks and real estate but commodities fell until 2001.
