@ipso facto “Animal Spirits” Need Money And Options
I noticed long ago, your skills and abilities and animal spirits are useless if you are on the wrong side of the gov’t agenda. For example, you can loads of animal spirits in manufacturing, but the Gov’t in the USA is against you. You have to take your ambition to China. You can be a real estate worker, aircraft worker, fabricator the gov’t supports your ambitions. You deal with solar panels? Merry Christmas. The gov’t picks the winners and losers. Are you into climate change business, gov’t loves you.
My climate change Mass Airflow Sensor went bad. Check engine light. Hard starting and finally no start. I went on the Internet. I unplugged the Sensor, started right up. This is a sure sign of a shorted mass airflow sensor. The reason it starts with it off is the computer sees no mass air signal and replaces it with an internal memory fake signal to use. This will let it start and will run until you change it.
Climate change: Looks like. Welfare for electronics parts fabricators, parts distributers, parts delivery jobs, parts retailers and auto mechanic welfare, to diagnose remove and install. Also auto towing people get some gravy. The new car dealers also love the extra diagnostic work, and the parts are very expensive and not really needed.
Parts: You can bypass the MAF sensor, and allow the O2 sensor to calculate how much air is needed.
When you unplug the MAF, the computer goes to a default value stored in your memory. Your fuel economy will probably suffer a little bit, but no big issues. You’re OK for a week or two, but replace the MAF with a proper TDI unit.
If you are not aware of this, you call a tow truck, more money. One day my sons car won’t start. I figured a bad fuel pump. I smacked the bottom of the tank no luck. I was ready to call my tow guy. $75 at least. Told my son go on the computer, search 2003 Malibu won’t start.
Instructions: Turn key on. “security light” will start blinking. Go away, leave the car alone blinking for 10 minutes. Come back, turn ignition off, turn back on, and the car starts. If you or your mechanic doesn’t KNOW this? And he goes crazy scanning and testing? Plus the tow? More welfare, and its like you are paying taxes to support other people.
And who the hell asked for an alarm system? Or anti lock brakes? Or air bags? And tire pressure sensors, and all the other free crap, and nothing is free.

Spot on Gold shud be flying here…….God knows how much paper the scum sold today, must have been thousands and thousands of contracts.

LOL I just hope he knows his strength!
Mr.Copper
To me and most people I think “animal spirits” in an economic sense means to work hard, to be smart so you can get ahead. This is what makes capitalism function. It has little to do with “make believe money.”
How Many Consumer Product Vaccines Do Babies Get In The First Year
Currently, 16 vaccines – some requiring multiple doses at specific ages and times – are recommended from birth to 18 years old. Recommended vaccines include: Influenza (annual flu shot) Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (DTaP)
- Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (DTaP)
- Tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis (Tdap “booster” for adolescents)
- Poliovirus (IPV)
- Measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Pneumococcal (PCV)
- Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)
- Rotavirus
- Hepatitis B (Hep B)
- Hepatitis A (Hep A)
- Human papillomavirus (HPV)
- Meningococcal (MenACWY)
- Meningococcal B (MenB)**
Comment: None of the wild animals get vaccines and they seem fine. Deer bears rabbits etc. I think they all just die of old age or killed by hunters. I do a lot of reading, and I never heard of massive animal die offs from contagious diseases. The Bears really look healthy munching on those Salmons in rivers. And why do we have a new covid strain after all the prior discipline? Are the Covid vaccines causing it?
Maybe its time to experiment with vaccinating various animals and see what happens.
ipso facto @ 13:26
God is coming.
And we are all going to get a slap.
Pfizer in the works to vaccinate children 5-11 next. Gates must be salivating and running his hands together.
Pfizer plans on vaccinating kids 5 to 11 next. A doctor came on Bloomberg honestly admitting the vaccine isn’t meant to prevent you from getting the virus. A backtrack they first claimed it was 95 % effective in preventing you from getting it. Now claiming it was meant to lessen the illness. That isn’t true either. He also acknowledged that the children generally aren’t much affected by this virus. So the excuse now is they could get it and pass it on to older people. So if the virus wasn’t meant to prevent you from getting it only lessening the severity which is also turning out not to be true how does that justify the risk of taking it when they could get it and spread it anyways? What older person vaccinated or not would risk a child’s health and life giving them this vaccine to enrich a few that could kill them or destroy their heart or other organs and leave them disabled on medication the rest of their life if they live over one lie after another. The whole vaccine propaganda it protects you from getting or eradicating the disease is a lie as well as the reason for the giving it to children.
@ ipso facto 13:26 imo, China’s “animal spirits” and efficiency in their country.
Animal Sprites came from “free make believe money” for building new towns, apartment buildings, bridges going to nowhere, millions of fake jobs . If their economy crashes, we can’t blame their drifting away from capitalism. At least they planned for a growing population while the fake money still gets things done ahead of normal time. LOL
I myself don’t believe capitalism even exists anywhere on the planet, with all countries using fake monopoly money. Call me crazy if you want. Organic real money unfettered business activity, capitalism is what the world had between 1492 and 1913.
After 1913 a hybrid economy, a waning gold backed currency, and a waning capitalism. Its very understanding for us to think the USA is a capitalist country. Because it was the last capitalist country on a socialist planet, that got absorbed by all the others.
Trust me, when TSHTF it WON’T be a collapse of capitalism. It will be a collapse of 100 years of nonsense. LOL. When TSHTF it will force a return to capitalism. Meanwhile, the “Credit Cards” and counterfeit money are still working.
If Evergrande wants to alleviate some of it’s financial problems
they can just go into all those empty condos they own and pull out the copper wiring and plumbing pipes and sell it for scrap.
No need to thank me … ![]()
Captain Hook @ 12:22
I don’t mind seeing the banks get slapped either … only problem is if they have BIG problems the populace ends up paying for it.
Chinese government better watch out or their actions could smash their economy. This trend back towards communism and away from capitalism could sink them. They’re forgetting that communism doesn’t work and they’ll kill the “animal spirits” and efficiency in their country.

Industrial Metals Silver, Platinum, Copper and Palladium are Reflecting a slowing economy
Gold which is money, or a monetary metal, is holding up. The global economy is in a very strange vulnerable situation.
PS I was checking high priced real estate in my area yesterday and saw plenty of price reductions. One price cut was: $351,000 lower to $2,500,000 from $2,850,000. Other drops? $18k $60k $50k $30k $49k $25k, $25k, $10k, $50k on a vacant lot, some sellers are getting nervous I guess.
August 10 2000 Gold $2,050, ten year .05%.
Today 9/20/2021 Gold $1,763, ten year 1.3%

It’s not very often the NY bankers get slapped but the Chinese have no problem with it.
And they won’t have any problem sending gold / silver higher either since they own truck loads.
That was always the plan Stan. (that’s why they have been accumulating in the long game)
I own most of the PM stocks Bob (sometimes ‘the knob’) talks about in that article.
Cheers
Hey Winedoc
I agree, we should be up alot more and the shares have been a disaster for years now.
They continue to use silver as the “tell” for how pm’s are going to perform on any given day.
It appears that most of the commodities are getting hit. Copper for example. I guess there’s no way that silver will hold up on a day when industrial metals are down
Buygold 11:43 Lunch Break We should be up $45-50 bucks ……..
Phyzz has been a better place to be than the shares
PM stocks have been disappointing beyond words
On the general markets
One of these days JBTFD is gonna stop working
Meanwhile ………. no safe haven here sir, or gold would be up 2 % or $50 bucks or whatever
Not happening though, sadly
FWIW for the first time in a long time, on saturday, my gold shop clerks were in an “urgent” kind of mood, of a systems crash ……. they have their pulse on something different than I ….. 🙂 …….. or are they just playing their book, like always . Time will tell.
Winedoc
Hey Ipso
yeah, pretty unusual. We almost always lead the SM down – especially the shares.
How great would it be if gold became a safe haven? Seems like the USD and Bitcoin have been the safe havens for a long time now.
Edit – Ipso, one thing though, they are picking on our silver which I hate to see, especially with the USD up only a smidge.
Buygold @ 10:47
Gold popping a bit now. Amazing
Holding up surprisingly well
even the shares aren’t getting slaughtered too bad, although some of the silvers are a bit weak.
Still, pm’s usually lead the way down, so not terrible.

We are in the liquidity crisis that happens at the end of all roaring bull markets when the piper shows up at the door and demands to be paid. It’s something that both Bob Hoye and I have been predicting for months. Perhaps it will be laid at the feet of Evergrande but it really doesn’t matter. It was fated to happen and someone will always be blamed. The general stock market is about to start the biggest financial crash in history.

Indictment imminent for former Boeing 737 MAX chief technical pilot, report says
Seattle – Federal prosecutors plan to criminally indict Mark Forkner, the former Boeing 737 Chief Technical Pilot who is alleged to have deceived aviation regulators and airlines about a critical new flight control system on the 737 MAX, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
Bringing Forkner to trial could shed more light on why the flaws in the MAX flight controls that killed 346 people in two crashes were overlooked during certification.
In a Deferred Prosecution Agreement with the government in January that slapped Boeing with a relatively low fine of $244 million, the company acknowledged fraud and criminal misconduct during certification of the MAX.
