The FCC eliminated the policy in 1987 and removed the rule that implemented the policy from the Federal Register in August 2011. … FCC, upheld the FCC’s general right to enforce the fairness doctrine where channels were limited. However, the Court did not rule that the FCC was obliged to do so.
In 1985, however, the FCC decided that the doctrine had a “chilling effect” upon freedom of speech. At about that time, representatives of cable and satellite television networks challenged the applicability of the doctrine to their industries.

Geez I’m glad you said something. I wasn’t paying attention. Didn’t notice the -9%. I thought the PMs miners were negative because of volatile share prices, but the only one actually positive re cash flow and not share performance.
You’re right. Should continue long term. It all makes sense. The miners HAVE to be doing better, with the past increased demand and higher prices, and all others probably hurting from the Virus

Below in today’s paper confirms my suspicions about global influences using emissions laws and currency exchange rates against the domestic USA to artificially share or transfer jobs and wealth to other nations. I suspected this with the new Clean Air Act in 1970.

Envoy Xie Zhenhua said in an online webinar on climate change that China will release updated plans to reduce emissions soon and elaborate on its plans during a U.N. climate change conference in Glasgow, Scotland, later this year.
China has said its carbon emissions should peak by 2030 and then decline, with a goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2060. The country, the world’s largest carbon emitter, has argued that it is still a developing economy and should not be held to the same standards as developed countries in reducing carbon emissions.
World leaders and climate negotiators are to gather in Glasgow in November for the 26th U.N. In the future that graph will probably reverse, because in reality, honest real money, and all Metals are the most important things. That’s how the world started after the stone age. Everything on that list would not exist without metals, other than real estate maybe. But even there you have wire and plumbing, and need metal equipment to cut wood etc.
