You generally don’t see it in the hospital as people usually stay home for a few days or like you said think it’s the stomach flu. It depends on the load like most bugs or virus of how much of the bug or virus you are exposed to or in food poisoning in ingest how sick your gonna be depending on general health. What I see more in hospitals is poisoning be overdose or kids getting a hold of something left in their reach including things you’d never think they would try to eat. Except maybe mass poisoning from a restaurant or a cook. I remember guy from college that I can’t remember how we got on the subject said his family won’t come over for dinner anymore. I asked why and he said he left some hamburger in the fridge for a week or more too busy studying and when they came over he cooked them up and they all wound up in the emergency room. Sheesh
