Food poisoning can last days averaging about three for the general health. It can be accompanied with a fever too.
I hope the stomach flu isn’t going around working with kids. A respiratory flu can be dangerous too but at least you can get them to drink and get nutrition even if liquid down them but really have to watch for pneumonia and their temp going too high but stomach flu bud they can dehydrate real fast and have to be diligent with frequent small drinks and I mean frequent because so small they don’t throw it back up making it worse and hope they can hold it down or have to go on IVs. They can also aspirate if they vomit and cause pneumonia that way too. So I do hope there isn’t a stomach flu coming about before I retire. I’d rather deal with COVID. Healthy kids with no morbidities don’t get very sick and the others have higher restrictions to protect them from getting it.
You can have GI issues but generally not just fatigue but sore throat and respiratory issues and generally feeling like hell they say.

They feel worse like Buygold about a week later because during the first week the virus is multiplying and the SOBs behind the scenes weren’t stopping the multiplication when it was most critical to stop the virus in the first week. Then the immune system is overwhelmed and starts to attack mostly the dead virus by then the immune system got rid of but if they couldn’t get rid of it fast enough deleted on how much they were exposed or their health at the time it over reacts. here comes the cytokine storm or mass inflammatory process mostly to the lungs, blood clots and even sepsis. So the body’s trying to attack all these foreign particles that have been multiplying for a week from the body and why they generally feel worse by the second week or go into the pulmonary stage.
The danger too is people esp in Health care used to being exposed to viruses can ignore that thinking their just run down or fighting a bug and ignoring the first stage. I’m afraid I might do that too.
