It’s a disaster in the making! No wonder the state is losing population even with thousands of illegals being welcomed there.

I was talking to my Bro in Sonoma yesterday, he is very worried about the coming fire season.

A one time payment isn’t going to be enough to help the uncontrolled rising cost of living as well as homelessness in California. Instead what do they do is open borders and make it worse. A person living solely on SS could not make it here unless they owned property and it was paid for but even then property taxes utilities and insurances as in Car insurance also has penalties and is higher in Calif.
Byrrmeister sp also fell into that problem where she had to cut off the internet and even then. They could make it on two SS checks but not one. When her husband fell ill and was hospitalized it took up his check. We talked about waiting to draw SS which is what I did because she was made to believe it was better to draw early on top of it. Then I’m sure Irish got a bit of her money for what ever was going on in Belize she could have used and would have needed.
One income on SS forget it here. It’s more or as much as a one bedroom apt and your expected to make three times the rent.
These are honest hard working people most all their lives.
Now the young can’t even make it at the start here without staying home or getting roommates.
We have increasing working class sleeping in their cars. We have groups of people on SS that live in campers or converted box cars. Thanks to the internet it makes their lives a little more comfortable.
Part of it is the Bay Area Tec moving here but it’s mainly greed and mismanagement like a run away train with no one in charge.
Meanwhile companies like Amazon are growing.
When I went to return something back to Amazon I found they have their own wear house building not that far away. It’s huge like a half a block long and trying to be techie modern thinking their cool give priority to EV car parking. Then you are supposed to use your phone to do it.
My son and daughter-in-law took me to a early Mother’s Day dinner and had to use my phone to open a app at the table to read the menu. I guess that way no disposable menus because of the virus.
At least it’s providing more jobs but it’s not helping the cost of living.

What commodity inflation…scum belting PM’s and Oil….believe the mirage, not yr empty wallet.

I think you’ll find that if the Premiums stay, then a lot will….just like farm shops…after all what do u need, a web site and a few people to pack up the metal and ship it out……

there’s only one group who can sell unlimited amounts of paper and never get called for the metal, or have anyone asking what the hell they are doing and that is the Fed/government.

When the redit group or however identified thought they could go after the manipulators and started buying it brought the premiums. They started after it shortly after they took out the shorts in some stocks a while back. But what happened as it did when silver was moving to 50 and then gold moving they raised the premiums. That is just another way to control demand. This time I never seen premiums go that high. I was going to buy a little more junk or called what have you pre 65s but backed off. Silver was selling for 40 plus a ounce when it was what then 26 or so a ounce. I was able to contact some of them and warn them as many were complete newbies who were the first time going to do taxes on trades.
There still out there though chipping away at the cabal. Lol
Not just banks but wonder if manufacturing like Tec companies even car manufacturers have a interest to keep it down. They apparently don’t have a interest in keeping tec or car prices down even though they outsource and take advantage of currency exchanges.

But the state pension program is way underfunded! Call it what it is … bribery because Newsome wants to stay in office.

Looks like at the open the Nasdaq will have lost what, 500 pts. in the last two days?

I’m surprised gold and silver aren’t down this am yet.

Also surprised the 10 yr. rates are up a little with the USD down a little.

Hi Equisetum, welcome back!

The trickiest move in railroading…
bringing 10,000 tons of coal rolling
on steel wheels downhill on the mountain,
with air brakes. Speed limits enforced by
the laws of physics, because beyond a certain
speed, it becomes impossible to stop.

Thanks for all you and Buygold do to keep this site functioning.  Also, I second the comment made by someone else a couple of days about how informative your near-daily links are about what various PM explorers and developers are doing to scope out their reserves or to enter into business deals to advance their business plan and operating plans.  Your posting of these PM-related links makes me lazy because I do not have to try to keep on top of new initiatives in the Canadian portion of the PM mining sector.  Good stuff.  Aside from our long-hold core PM equity holdings, my main interest is to keep up to date with PM-related developments in the Golden Triangle area of British Columbia.
