People on the terrorist watch list have been nabbed trying to cross the border as part of the new surge of migrants, congressional Republicans revealed during a trip to the border Monday.

They said agents reported having caught migrants from Yemen, Iran and Sri Lanka, amid the much larger numbers of Haitians, Central Americans and others.

“Individuals that they have on the watch list for terrorism are now starting to exploit the southern border,” Rep. John Katko of New York, the top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee, said as he stood near a section of border wall in El Paso, Texas.

Japan May Release Fukushima Water Into Ocean as Part of Nuclear Cleanup

The Japanese utility giant Tokyo Electric Power Co., or Tepco, may release more than a million cubic meters of treated radioactive water from the destroyed Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant into the Pacific Ocean as part of a decades-long operation.

It’s being considered as part of a $200 billion cleanup process that has been largely delayed by the buildup of contaminated water in tanks that crowd the nuclear site, which was wrecked by a 2011 tsunami that followed a magnitude 9.0 earthquake. The melted cores are kept cool by pumping water into damaged reactor vessels.

NAK appears to have a minor breakout today. It is now above all the moving averages on the daily chart and good support on the weekly. Maybe, just maybe, it’s headed up to close the gap in the $1.40 area before “go away in May”.

Zephyr Wisconsin is no stranger to that snow but that looked rather risky with the tracks being covered like that.
Reminded me of a winter landing in Colorado things got a little tense and we’re warned to get ready for landing. We slid across the run way and the plane was making all sorts of noises. I had faith in that pilot though despite the blizzard.
Then some businesses man looks back at me from across the isle as I had put this big stuffed animal I won’t in a gym meet not that I did that activity but others but wanted the cute big red white mouse I put in the seat next to me because it was pretty big and going to give it to so kid siblings and he said I bet they make you put a seat belt on that thing next time.
Here in Calif few years back I wanted to go on some long roller coaster on Tahoe quite scenic but not a traditional one but one seat at a time by yourself like a go cart that goes through the mountain but the snow actually collapsed it somehow.

Rates down 3 bps and even the pm shares are doing OK hopefully anticipating a top in rates.

Have to get through a Fed meeting this week. I’d expect rates to move back up if they don’t hint at buying more treasuries.

US must lift sanctions and pledge not to repeat Trump’s ‘mistakes’ before nuclear talks can resume, Iran says

Tehran has called on Washington to end its sanctions regime against the Islamic Republic and vow not to repeat errors made by the Trump administration, saying the demands were preconditions for rebooting nuclear deal talks.

“The US should lift sanctions on Iran and also should give guarantees that Trump’s mistakes will not happen again, then we can talk within the framework of JCPOA,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said on Monday, referring to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif urged Washington to compromise or accept that the two longtime rivals would “go back to our own paths.” He said that time was running to strike a deal because Iran would soon begin preparing for a presidential election that would make a diplomatic breakthrough unlikely in the near future.
