Heinz was a conservative Republican Senator from PA who died in a mysterious , small chartered plane crash in early spring decades ago . His South African born wife , Teresa (Theresa) inherited the Heinz fortune and began undoing all that the senator had tried to achieve . She must have been fantastic in bed , because he certainly didn’t marry her for her looks ! Then , enter John Kerry , who married into the money and worked to finish the job Teresa had started , of reversing the politically conservative direction that had been aided by John Heinz’ philanthropy . The Heinz sons appear to be the antithesis of all their honorable father was .
In memory I can still hear that “CHUFF…..CHUFF…..CHUFF” of the locomotives pulling a heavy freight load from the yard . And in some seasons , the drive wheels breaking loose on the rails until the engineer throttled back to regain traction .
