A guy came in for instance with multi DUIs had money got them taken off his record and the Judge joking oh that’s why I don’t see them when it was brought up. He paid a fine for another one and walked. Then they brought in a poor black woman who was in custody who stole some nylons. She said she needed them for applying for a job. They gave her 6 months. I guess they thought that was a priority over a man who could walk out and kill someone. Things change with petty theft I think if under 5-10 dollars I think even DUIs since then and probably why but not the rest.
