The whole financial system is a man made and artificial. It all started gradually after 1913 that led to the depression, that led to the New Deal, NRA, National Recovery Act, calling for maximum hours and minimum pay. REMEMBER any of this?? ANYONE???
I remember they were paying farmers not to grow something. Still? I don’t know. We have twice as many cops and teachers that are needed. There are all kinds of tax paid public works that are not needed going on. I see GRANTS every day in the paper for various re-vitalizations of various town and villages.
People and businesses need to glean a PROFIT, over and above their COSTS. This includes families. Every house is a small business. When people or businesses operate at a loss, they end up gradually going out of business.
People START by not paying bills, businesses stop paying vendors, then THEY all get screwed TOO. Look at 2008. Joe stopped paying his 105% mortgage. Money handed to him for free, even though they had no down payment, no savings account. PLUS the could not qualify for a house rental. Three months up front and a perfect credit rating.
The whole system has evolved into a global welfare system. Globalization turned into Global welfare. Take from the Rich country and give to the poor country. Keep in mind too, any new regulations these bone heads create, require more tax paid gov’t employees. That provide nothing of value or need, but absorb things of value and need that taxpayers have to provide.
