Nice to see the PM shares are strong and not joining the downturn!

Just Wait Until The Bozo Bankers At The Fed, Lower The Rates Again, Gold Will Get A Big Tailwind.

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 14:29 on October 11, 2018

And, even if the Bozos raise rates like they did thru the 1970s, from 6% to 21% they never made a big enough jump to kill Gold. They went up together, 1969 to 1981? until the distortion was so great at 21% that Gold (and all commodities) finally started dropping.

A close above $1223.70 on Friday would look extremely bullish on the gold weekly continuation chart. The cycles guys that are long gold, short USDX will be adding heavily to those positions as they become profitable. They start off with minimal positions and get really aggressive when in the profit.

Nice move on JNUG today. As usual, I didn’t buy enough under $7.25.

Thanks, Goldie.  The reason the trees came down in my area during Hurricane Opal (October, 1995) is because it had rained for days prior thereto, so all they needed were strong winds and heavy rain to bring them down.

The wind started up shortly after I posted earlier but seems to be slacking off now and a good thing, too, because we have had lots of rain the past month, the ground is soaked, and a strong wind would bring more trees down.  The plus side is that I need not be concerned about a forest fire.

Yes agreed, me too. Not limiting myself. But if I’m undecided on two and want one, if they have a US mine, I’ll choose that one. I have mines in shit countries. I basically go for good performers, no matter the price.

I have NO way of knowing why some go up a lot and some do nothing. Some people buy the “name” if they like it. Remember Sunshine Mining? Many loved that one. Remember DROOY? nobody like that one. 🙂 The “popularity” or strong performers, tends to rotate. Some years its ZYZ and other years its ABC.

P.S. Another thing I noticed about best performers, was the market caps. The real high ones and the very low ones don’t do as well as the area between $300 million and $1.4 billion. The super big caps like ABX NEM GG AEM etc do very good when the big mutual funds start buying in. And that’s what it looks like lately.

This doesn’t happen too often

If you want to concentrate in US miners that’s fine. I don’t care to limit myself like that.

I do have a pretty long list of countries I don’t invest in.

The Gold Situation Is WAY WAY Past Due.

Ever since the middle of 2016, the powers that be engineered a huge psychological stalling of reality tactic for the entire economy. Or just high hopes that it, the artificial boom, would carry on, last long term. They put the past 2008 to 2016 era “on hold”. There is no real economic prosperity for the masses here yet.

Trump would do well to point out the mismanagement going on. They put all this money in bonds instead of equities then need to drive up interest rates. If retirements were diversified including SS they wouldn’t be going broke but they keep doing the same thing. All about control of the money even if it crashes and burns and leaves millions hanging. Looks like that might be going on in Europe too. What’s they’re answer? Looks like they want to kill us off, bury their mistakes with corporations replacing medical and charging astronomical amounts for shoddy care then do it again to the next generation. It’s not just immigration for easy money but getting people who are clueless to keep them in power until the ship sinks.

I do wonder if money is pulling out prior to elections knowing that if Demos control the house or senate it won’t be good for the economy.
With that if it’s a red wave the stocks may recover quickly. IMO

Ipso, Re Gold Miners On American Soil

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:13 on October 11, 2018

There are many, I can’t think of right now. I have one GSV. We have to research. Just google US Gold mines. Canadian mines are probably a good bet too, but if they are only based there, and have many mines in shit countries, like FCX and Indonesia, may want to avoid them. The bottom line is any mining co stock, even bad ones, can go up a lot if its simply popular with investors. Like a popularity contest. When I look at my sectors lists, I like the best performers over long term like 6 months. Then looking at the one month column, you can spot the best performers there. Some folks might want the laggards.

For example, YTD performers. KL 28%, GORO 26%, SA 30%,AKG 22%.

One month performers. PGLC 104%, SA32%, ABX 27%, GOLD 26%, SBGL 25%, GSV 24%. Then there is the Silver sector, Diversified Metals, Precious metals, Copper etc.

stories:

The United States is the third-largest gold-producing country, after South Africa and Australia. Mines in Nevada account for more than 80 percent of U.S. production. According to a 2005 article in The New York Times, Nevada had approximately 20 open pit gold mines, about half of the active mines in the United States. Other prominent U.S. gold mines are located in Alaska and Colorado.

There’s a few in the US but I’m sure not going to limit myself.

PM shares not looking so bad today. If our upturn is commensurate with the downturn, there’s going to be some smiles around here.

… and probably more posters as well.

Allied Nevada went into protection with a buyout , giving shareholders warrants in Hycroft . A law suit was initiated a year or more ago by some shareholders.

Scorpio is keeping afloat by processing ore for surrounding mines , I believe . It is truly a penny stock hovering between a cent and two cents a share .

Glad your okay, figured you would be but wondering if you were gonna lose your power.
Tree Frog I guess lost his wifi although good he has a generator. Missing all the weather damage coming in from areas of direct hit less he has a good antenna. What a mess in some areas but least the people are okay. I think more trees would survive if they trimmed the branches off so they wouldn’t be so top heavy when hurricane season came in. Two deaths so far one sadly a 11 yr old child. Would be nice if they could get it to zero but most of that is up to people.
I wonder where Farmboy is right now? Hopefully out of the way of it’s path.

Now we can really get going..! Dollar headed South!
