FYI=glad I didn’t go out to the june 15 SLV $16 calls—they were 25 at Fridays close–they are now 17/18 bid-ask—-so if a Friday buyer panicked and changed his mind he’d take a 7 or 8 cent hit-I tested my hunch and it cost me 2 cents–so many traders think there’s a virtue to going way out in time…maybe cause they read too many times the predictions of eventual $100 silver…the problem is that emotions take over…and if your bet doesn’t work for a day or 3 or 4 days…you throw in the towel and take a 50%-60% hit…I think there are times to buy longer dated options if “atmospheric conditions” warrant it.
