Interesting history … could easily have gone another path into nothingness. I too am worried that the cryptos will influence people to accept a cashless state currency. One where the gov is permanently riding on your shoulder inspecting your life. This would be an incredible tragedy and loss of freedom.
The energy consumption story is way overdone if this article is correct.
