Loading ...Thanks for the heads up on the Quake. Most of us who live in Quake country are used to it. But once you been in a bad one it changes your life style. You keep blinds in windows after watching them explode like in a hurricane, and try not to stay too long under ir over a bridge. You keep extra food water around. A tent or trailer on hand. You don’t hang anything heavy over where ever you sit or sleep. You never position your baby or children beds by windows. A bad one stays with you. Not post traumatic but awareness. There were times thoughts crossed my mind this person or that is the type that will get you killed when they dilly dally under over a bridge though. Lol You learn how to purify and desalt water or get something that will perhaps taking it a bit farther because water becomes one of the most important things needed. Think not being able to wash yiur hands or cleaning wounds and a lot of us had them including me from broken glass and debris.
In California although they can come anytime they tend to come in winter months which makes me guess it may have to do with the winter weather affecting the sea turbulence which affects the plates. So about Oct I start thinking about it as far as having supplies. Quakes don’t hit in one place they move around Calif. One could be in south, another year north. We’re I live now it old ground that I briefly studied in geology through a math study friend who was taking it. I learned what they projected calif would look like thousands of years from now. It was interesting, Baja Calif will break off. If you survive the quake the bigger challenge will come with surviving the after math. Like a hurricane but good part your not under water and have alligators swimming down the street except if you eat them. . Bad part you have no warning. If your away from home you have to worry about family as well as gas leaks and theft.
Messed up thing this Thanksgiving is a guy bought food for Thanksgiving and walked off from his cart and someine took off with it. Some people are so messed up. I heard about it when checking out as tellers were talking about it. Same thing happens in a quake and fast. A friend from Texas told me during one of the hurricane they were in they had to keep their Truck in front of their house because crooks would drive around looking to steal peoples gas. Says its so hot they slept on the porch. Guess that’s worse than being so cold in winter cuz you can make fires and get warm. She had to walk a ways to check on her elderly dad a WW11 polot to see if he was okay because the roads were a mess with debris. Both bad different ways.
Right on Trump but sometimes wonder what’s in it for him but at same time I don’t care because he’s on the right side of things we hope.
