Loading ...Guess I should tell you I just don’t know. These modern day prophets, and the messages they claim to hear, are kinda above my paygrade so to speak. But until I can be satisfied with a more ‘rational’ answer, I am left thinking that Trumps victory has to be some kind of God Thing. Some sort of Divine Intervention. A verse from the Old Testament comes to mind.
“2 Chronicles 7:14King James Version (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
I think this past election showed that a lot of folks are upset with the current status quo. And I have no doubt that those with any religious slant, or belief, have been praying. It just seems the odds against Trump making it this far, well, they were stacked heavily against him. I am beginning to believe, maybe God does hear and answer prayer.
And I have to mention this tonight. After watching that video on my screen, it switched to a couple choices from a guy named Chuck Missler. Perhaps it is unique to my computer, the way it seems to track everything I do, but Missler happens to be one of my ‘go to’ people on things of the bible. A former Navy College Graduate, and successful CEO of several Fortune 500 businesses, he is a ardent student of the bible. So much so he learned Greek and Hebrew so he could study it in its original language.
The bottom line, for the most part, I don’t things, major things, happen by chance. For example, and this was one of my problems in deciding there was no god at one point, until I studied the Miracle of Creation. When I looked into the Creation of this universe, our planet, of life itself, there was a pretty good argument scientific and otherwise, that there was a Creator behind it all. And if there is a God, then logic would say He is involved in the things of His Creation.
Guess we will have to watch and see how it all plays out from here. But it would not surprise me none, if in a hundred or a thousand years, we discover the Trump had a hand bigger than himself, putting him into office. And if I may be so bold, just maybe, enough Americans had started to turn their hearts and minds to God, that we had the Creator in a box. ” If my people…” If there is a God, then certainly above all else He would keep his Promises. That verse above has four conditions, followed by three Promises. I am wondering if we qualified for the four conditions, and have no doubt that He would keep his Promise. Sure seems that way to me.
