But before November 8th, we had nada, zero, zip, zilch of anything or anyone to put faith in. This is the first Thanksgiving in at least 8 years, that I have a glimmer of hope for our Country. Perhaps it aint much, aint all I want, but I will accept that as enough for now. Or put another way, the future is one hell of a lot brighter than it has been in a long time. Trump is already making a difference if in that regard alone, like you said, a lot of folks put their faith in him. And that is a start. Where there is Faith, there is Hope.
America is turning back from the gates of hell. Sound too dramatic ? Perhaps the best definition of hell I ever heard told was this: ” Hell is the absence of all hope.” That is exactly where many of us Americans, old and young alike, found ourselves before Trump. We are no longer staring into a fiery abyss, with Obama or Hillary pushing on our backs.
It aint over until the fat lady sings, and thankfully, ole lying pant suit was jerked from the stage before she had a chance to sing her song. Her song is silenced, decided in the court of public opinion. Who sez there aint a God? 🙂
