Loading ...is here again in the florida panhandle. a sunday evening bolt from the blue fried the motor on my well pump. such is life. i got it replaced this morning. ten years on a $500 pump. that’s fifty bucks a year for unlimited cool, clear water direct from the floridan aquifer. nestle and several other brands use the same aquifer for their bottled water. i get it for free. well, the electricity to pump it costs something and i have to put in a new pump every few years. i checked with some friends who get piped, chlorinated water. they pay forty bucks a month. i am sooooo glad i don’t live in a city.
