Agree. Definitely looks like even if we do bounce here, we’re still facing a big flush.
This has really been a death by a thousand cuts correction for the last four years. No real capitulation has been seen at least in the sense of what we’ve seen in the past. We’ve had a lot of huge volume down days but really never a huge volume reversal, which is different from what we’ve seen in the last ten years.
The pressure is as constant as I’ve ever seen it, especially in the last year. The question that keeps circulating in my head is “what are they so afraid of”? Why are they working so hard to shake the tree?

Looks like we were both going over the charts… I kind of agree… we are at ‘support’ at these levels… ‘everyone’ reading the charts know this…. so do we bounce… or do we get that capitulation plunge from here?? While… bullion might be flying off the shelf in Asia… I still think, whether we bounce from here or not we will break support and will have some capitulation … “it seems ‘their’ way” Islandgold

Morning All ….. From my perspective (for whatever that’s worth!!) The PM and their shares have been worked down pretty good in US$ terms. Being a Canadian… Holding bullion has actually been pretty good hedge against the Cdn$ … gold is up $1470 Cdn and silver $20+ … What is interesting (or not) is that the CDN PM stocks follow the US/HUI and trade pretty much equal with them when they should be quite profitable… actually most of the companies that have mines outside of the US ‘should’ be doing better due to their currency depreciation via the US. (For me.. this is out of whack …. like most things in the market now… of Life for that matter!!)
One could ‘expect’ one last very significant plunge/flush-out/capitulation v. the steady downward drip of the PM to mark the end of this BEAR …. that is how things usually work… or is their plan just to continue the downward drip into ‘nothingness’?? End of July and August have been ‘good times’ for this kind of action …. something like we saw last October/November… lol …..

if we’re going to have any chance of a short term reversal it ought to happen right here, right now at what one would think would be key long term levels. $1140, $15 and 135 HUI. Otherwise we’re probably looking at $1K gold and 35 HUI.
