I continue to be disappointed by the actions of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). A once revered and iconic Canadian establishment is going down the tubes, turning against The People on too many occasions. “We always get our man” appears to have a new connotation these days. Our trigger-happy police must curtail their urges. The officers on the scene claim he had a knife. Yet the one who caused the disturbance left the scene without encountering police, according to the RCMP. Fortunately, there were multiple eye witnesses. And it wasn’t the first shooting in the recent past, either, according to the one giving the press interview. As a viewer commented under this video at YouTube… why not shoot to arrest, rather than kill? What about tasers, pepper spray? It’s all too easy to shoot to kill and ask questions later. This victim won’t be answering any questions, will they? Unfortunately, hysteria is contagious and the cabal will unleash all manner of technologies to disrupt the peace and cause as much damage as possible in their waning days, pitting man against man. Let’s hope that calming energies forestall the dark in their attempts to whip us into a crescendo of violence, turning against each other. ~ BP

The global economy and financial system are collapsing, including and especially the United States. When I first got into gold and silver investing I didn’t realize it was an “all or nothing deal,” a “do or die situation.” We either are trod upon forever by the hobnailed fiat-printing boot or else the economies of the world implode in a chaotic cloud of destruction and the rig is killed. There doesn’t seem to be a middle ground.
I’d really rather not succeed in the gold market with the smell of burning grocery stores in the air … but it looks like that is going to be a sure accompaniment to a jailbreak for POG.

I was tradeing oil tdy…had a decent buy signal…well I thought so. Any way the mkt held for most of the day and even tried to rally some….but once Europe closed the cosh came down…new low, after new low.
I get the impression that it is all about “Painting the Tape”, that all is well etc…. Rates must stay low, as must all major commodities and especially the PM’s, while Stocks march ever higher and as it is all done by Algo’s there is never any let up, the mkts no longer inhale and exhale…it’s just a one way street.
A number of smart people are calling imminent bottoms….they could all be looking stupid soon…..

Nobody but nobody disputes that China Gold mines must sell their gold production to the Gov’t. Nobody inside or out of China disputes that these mines collectively produce approximately 300 tons per year. Nobody disputes that, not even Gata. So, 300 tons =3000 tons every 10 years. Try to balance that against their stated gold reserves. And note, that I have not included even one kilo ounce imported from Switzerland refiners.

Is this a weird situation or what? Suddenly we hear the Chinese are in trouble, and selling their gold, margin calls etc. Then reports of china over stated gold reserves in past, and just reported lower reserves than previously thought.
Possibly to maintain value of their massive Dollar holdings or reserves. Dollar Yuan and Gold have been pegged tightly for a long time now, you can see on Kitco.
And last week around the 7th? It seemed like the general stocks were starting a bear market, and suddenly looks like a bull market.
