Thought for sure they’d reverse this last night coming into the day. We’ll see what happens at the Crimex, hopefully we’ll see even more short covering.
Ipso – Ha! Let’s just hope that this is the beginning of the shorts and their sorrows. I hear you about stores and society in general. Tough to know what comes next.

As long as we can find food at the grocery stores and the neighborhoods aren’t burning … we’re AOK.
It stresses my heart and I feel all the pain the gold and silver shorts are going through! He He

One day, we’ll see an AH move like this and it will just keep going.
Not sure what the world will look like, but it will just keep going.
Someone sure wanted out (or in) badly tonight though. 🙂

Now everyone is cynical and jaded … waiting for the guaranteed beat down to start.
Maybe times are different … I wouldn’t mind.

tonight, come to papa. Even if they fade it by tomorrow, it’s good to see it get tested. Ameritrade Think or Swim says $2,225 was hit.

$2,213 at the moment – up another $26
This might be a wild night. Hate to get too excited, usually leads to disappointment.

From 4000 to 40000. Talking about a lunatic! In California they divide 40000 in taxes by 7 different taxes and he , Newsom wants to run for president? Where do they get off doing any of this? Is it going back to 4,000?
Even Powell was complaining about housing cost. He knows they’re going after living standards or livelihoods but put it in away it’s the demand under control instead of corporate parasites and certain company’s on wall street buying up property’s to rent them, doubling the rent in short amount of time and make nasty landlords too. People are getting together in San Fran to fight back. People might just stop paying all at once in boycotts.
Housing cost affects inflation numbers so makes his job harder to save the banks. They already artificially lower the real inflation numbers which is just another tax. The ones Calif wants will just raise inflation even more and cost more jobs.

With the software I have here, I added a GLD overlay, going back to the bottom at the start of 2016. So I can see relative performance of gold or GLD, with the miners.
Using a few examples AGI, Its up 300% with GLD up 100%. DRD is up 400%, BVN 800%, SVM 500%, FNV 140%, WFM 150%, GFI 450%, AU 200%, KGC RGLD also up 200%.
AG and HL Silver and many other only kept pace with GLD and some lagged GLD.
P.S. The decent miners are over $500 million market cap. Those tiny ones are only good for a little Vegas money if you know something good about them to play.

Back test of 200 day Av done and after reversing higher today, it put in a 4 day Key reversal to the upside, off that back test…….classic bull mkt action…..
Mr Copper looks like he was dead right in saying we will not see 2000 or even 2100 again ……great call tks.

No doubt there’s absolutely nothing cheaper than the miners in the SM right now. They’ve yet to even feel the higher metal prices.
Was hoping to get some short covering into the close but looks more like profit taking. We’ll have to see if we get the usual takedown tomorrow. Rarely do we come out looking good two days in a row after a Fed meeting. I’m just not sure we’re there yet. Looks like we’ll get a weak close.

It seems like the Fed is encouraging inflation. Lately lot of miners are 20% to 50% higher over the past 6 months. I assume with the higher metals prices, a lot of the miners will report higher earnings. The miners should eventually catch fire. They will attract the non gold regular investors attention. They must have lots of profits they can take and rotate to the “cheap” stuff.

Inflation is definitely picking up, yet they are so calm. We all should be calling B.S. I don’t know what he’s saying but it’s rallying everything, and pm’s look very strong. In the past, we would get smacked down tomorrow. We’ll have to see if they have the ammo to do that tomorrow.
They shook the tree hard on the shares yesterday on light volume. The volume today is much stronger in GLD and SLV.
HUI popping thru 235, if we can hold it for a couple days, we should easily run up to the 250-260 level.
What I really want to see though is for the metals to decouple from the SM, Bitcoin, and everything else. Right now we’re trading with all that stuff.

All the inflation hedges are roaring ahead, including Gold. I thought for sure he would at least talk hawkish. In reality he should be starting to raise rates. Gold is going to go right into the $2,200s soon.

I was talking to a mate who lives in the state of Victoria, Australia recently…they had that power mad lunatic governor, who suddenly resigned recently, just before all sorts of dodgy deals he was doing with China came to light…….he also spent money like mad, just like Commiefornia….
Any way my mate said that Holiday homes, used to pay a State tax of Aus $ 4000, pa.5 yrs ago……now it is Aus $ 40,000 and that is just one of the taxes that has gone ape…..
It looks like it is a general trend, wherever the followers of the WEF are running the show.

but the consensus is 3 rate cuts in 2024, so everything rallies and the dollar reverses lower.
I’m not sure how that makes any sense at all, but at least we have a tentative rally going on, although it seems really tentative as to whether it will stick or not.
I’m guessing Powell has begun to open his yap, so we’ll see.

- Yep, but if they get away with it here ideas will head your way. Now tax on gas next like here will try to add milage and you know if it gets in like a parasite will grow bigger. They just need to get them out of office. Just.. they’re memory’s don’t last.
- Till it’s too late.

Wow that’s even worse than Washington State where we have new gas taxes courtesy of Gov Insley. States under Democrat control are insatiable and will devour their citizens!

I know what you mean. Hope not either.
Any relatives in Calif. Keep a eye out for this one and wording tricks but they need to be clear themselves. No one voted for a gas tax but too many misunderstood the wording. That one could of been easy, do you want a gas tax or not.
