Agreed, But back in 1975 I thought to myself, if tax payer wages don’t keep up with inflation, there are going to be problems. And here we are. Both spouses started working after that year, even before 1975, and now what? A third spouse to go out and work??? Things are at their worst. Opposite of when they were at their best back in 1970.   Then it all rotated downward. The system should get better later on because all the bad things are now apparent and spoken about. In other words out of necessity. The opposite of when the world found out we had the best living standards back around 1964.

Judging from the way my silver shares are acting, I’d say they’ll wipe the gains out within the next hour or so.

Mr. Copper – The Fed has already done enough damage to the country, anything less than eliminating their control over our money is a disgrace. With the amount of fiat currency floating around out there, gold should be well above $20K right now, but their ability to print billions in paper contracts allows them to keep it where they want it. Also why do you think Gold is holding up to $1,900 per oz as rates started climbing. Another transition or reversal, from 0% rates to 5-7%.

I pretty much agree.  But if the Fed really wants to kill inflation hedges like Gold, the Stock market and Real estate, they need to keep on raising rates. But that, yes, would cause other problems. I think the Fed deserves to have stress and sweat on their upper lip.

Doesn’t really matter though does it? We either sell off after the announcement, or rally and then sell it all back down plus some tomorrow. Been that way forever.

There’s still talk of the Fed cutting in 2024. I don’t see it happening, but I suppose anything is possible. The only reason they’d cut is to make Gov’t. debt more manageable, but if they do, the dollar falls and inflation roars back even worse than it is now.

I posted this previously but the reality of his warnings are beginning to happen now as we are being warned of the new “variant” and returning lockdowns and restrictions. She’s pretty well healed but screwed up having perfect hours at work she worked herself into esp when you have a child and now works 7 days a week. That’s messed up.
Luckily she wrode  a heavy bike, so heavy she couldn’t put it down or would need help getting it back up and she’s stronger than most girls her age,

That bike held out long enough that she had her first unassisted flight which she did have some injuries and again on the sudden stop on asphalt when landing and remained conscious which was good because she would of choked on her own blood because  it caused her to bite her tongue all the way through on one side of her mouth, That  and they fixed a tooth injury  so something hit her before the flight. That bike probably saved her life.
