Hunts take buy phyzz

Posted by goldielocks @ 6:40 on November 29, 2023

I’ve noticed  that even the most experienced and longest commodities investors are not influencing people to buy the stocks but the phyzz and not the ones who sell it.
Not know it all grandiose armatures that anyone listens when they have other priorities first and trades their common sense for that will regret it.
Pento though is very cautious and will not get caught up in unskilled grandiosity and will actively manage and counter instead of waiting for the great pumpkin to arise and show them the way. He only has a certain amount invested but more than normal cuz the average is 5 percent in portfolios. You can’t trust the market and get it and forget it. It will throw a curve and predictions are only as good as what’s going on today but there certainly is a pattern forming.

Hunt knows this game too  and talks physical to the average person, especially busy with their own jobs and survival which has and will become increasingly more difficult to have time to watch the games going on with the PMs. Coincidence he mentioned base metals like copper.

Dutch Central Bank Admits It Has Prepared for a New Gold Standard

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 21:54 on November 28, 2023

part

In a recent interview the Dutch central bank (DNB) shares it has equalized its gold reserves, relative to GDP, to other countries in the eurozone and outside of Europe. This has been a political decision. If there is a financial crisis the gold price will skyrocket, and official gold reserves can be used to underpin a new gold standard, according to DNB. These statements confirm what I have been writing for the past years about central banks having prepared for a new international gold standard.

Wouldn’t a central bank that has one primary objective—maintaining price stability—serve its mandate best by communicating the currency it issues can be relied upon in all circumstances? By saying gold will be the safe haven of choice during a financial collapse, DNB confesses its own currency (the euro) does not weather all storms. Indirectly, DNB encourages people to own gold to be protected from financial shocks, making the transition towards a gold based monetary system more likely.

I really think the Fed is afraid to raise rates. If they do, it will screw everything up. Auto and house sales are already lower. I was thinking from the start, that a possible deflation might unfold, and the Fed will lower rates again, and send Gold much higher. Gold is money.

Good story Alex re Silver and the $3 Levi’s. I remember when a slice of pizza and a coke was .25 cents. My first new car, a 1963 Pontiac Tempest was $2589. My second new car a 1969 Camaro was $2840. I was not thinking about AU and AG back then. Just working and having fun.

However, in the 1970s, with all those “Coins Wanted” adds every day in the paper, got me started.  I still think everything is in reverse. So after tons of inflation after 1934, a Fed Note deflation might make sense. It takes a dollar to buy what a nickel used to buy. And that worth less dollar is broken down into 100 microscopic parts, 100 pennies.

Well that’s the objective, living through it, but depends on what living through it leaves you physically or emotionally.  If your lucky  enough to both listen and learn through others is the best teacher , as in hurricanes, civil unrest,  wars, quakes, tornados,  fires or tsunami’s the better.
But if you been through any one of them you’ll know that it’s just not living through it but through the carnage after it where people can still die. I don’t know if there’s anyone who’d want to repeat it if they had a option.

Also having defense of different events if you live in violent country’s or potential to be one it’s not like duck hunting so your chances of survival go way down if you hang around and homes not bullet proof less of brick.
As far as that ammo you  could probably put that on the I Love Lucy show, quick plan gone wrong but in the end it gets fixed but in Lucy’s case poor Ricky may have never been the same again.

“think TPTB are totally losing control.”

I think you may be exactly right!

I have likely told this story before

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 18:44 on November 28, 2023

In 1959 I started college in a conservative western state bordering Nevada . I needed a new pair of Levi’s and my new roommate , who knew the town offered to drive me to Penny’s . We did so , I found my size , and handed the salesgirl a $10 bill . The Levi’s were $3 . The salesgirl mumbled something like ” Paypah? Sivah? . I looked at Fred in puzzlement and he said ” She is asking if you want your change in paper bills or seven silver dollars . Take the paper dollars ” those silver dollars have rough edges and are heavy , so will wear holes in the cotton pockets of your jeans.”

Three silver dollars ( and maybe only two ) will still buy a pair of Levi’s .

Message ? Keep stacking !

P.S. in those days a dollar bill was a silver certificate , not a FRN .

On that chart are four breakouts , from early 2020 on , pushing toward $2100 gold . When we see $2100 breached solidly , they will have lost control . The problem for others , is that the dollar will be in decline forcing many to go hungry , literally. Those with old junk silver coin will be able to barter for food at pre-1964 prices , IMHO .

@ ipso facto Did You Check That Chart I Posted?

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 16:05 on November 28, 2023

Check out the lows, March, then October, and the recent Oct low was a LOT less than the prior two major lows. I think TPTB are totally losing control.

And nobody is talking about it on the news. Which is good. Plus Gold it getting near the May highs at $2060, and we aren’t anywhere near May. This run? God knows how high Gold will be next May. Then its sell in may and go away.

Check out the May and August highs going back to August 2000 more than three years ago. This run should go past $2200/oz by May.

Why is it, that nobody talks about how well off we all were in 1970

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 14:37 on November 28, 2023

Why is it, that nobody talks about how well off we all were in 1970, when all the cars on the road were American made? Is it because everybody gleefully bought those imported cars?

1970 the media told us the UAW workers were making too much money and ruining the country. They also told us globalization would be good bc Americans would get cheaper high quality products. But the imports killed jobs and lower profits salaries and less tax income for the gov’t

n 1970 salaries were so high, that wives stayed home with the kids. Today middle class pay with wife home requires $200,000 annually. We also had zero national debt. We made everything here, TV sets, clothing, tools, machinery etc etc.

You people that hate Trump are pro global, anti American, being emotional rather than being practical, and you don’t even know about the decline of US living standards since 1970’s peak, and Trump represents the silent majority, a reversal movement of the past decline.

My opinion is a fact, the USA’s federal government is influenced by foreign special interests. We have a $34 trillion national debt n continuous trade imbalance because they took away our domestic consumer products manufacturing industries and gave them away to foreign nations.

Anybody that thinks Trump is bad for the USA economy, has no idea how good it was from 1945 to the 1970 peak. High school kids were buying new cars, with 3 year loans, getting married n having kids. Trump wanted to bring that back. I don’t care about his personality.

Ipso, life is the lesson, and every decision we make in our life influences the next one we face and have to make.

Posted by silverngold @ 13:38 on November 28, 2023

So it’s never someone else’s fault that we are where we are, because the things we chose to do are what put us here where we are at this very moment. It’s called LIFE!

EDIT: If you need help with a decision, just listen to your HIGHER POWER. If that is the Holy Spirit you will make the right decision, and no need to tell you what happens if you are listening to those lower influences.
