She also brought up another point witn the negative effects 15 minute city’s will do to people and its cruel. Like a bird in a cage. . I decided to spare her the embarrassment by Black Country folk on the meaning of that, the pattern and race specific only geese. I told her to look up migration patterns and the meaning of each. I should of mentioned that if she saw them flying with ducks, pheasants and other birds all at once then she should worry. It’s sad though the ones who grew up contained in city’s have lost touch with all the nature that share this earth with them they also need to consider  or the ecosystem all together.

They’re trying to turn Calif into a rental state. You will own nothing. They’re trying to get people to dump their cars by not enough parking in apartments even in areas where you need a car. There regs aren’t changed on their minimum parking. Forget having visitors. Some HMO housing don’t even allow street parking.

During Covid they also lost their best skilled workers and now they have to pay a lot more for less productive workers.

It’s not building more units that’s going to solve the problem to bring the housing cost down because the cost to build them is driving the prices up not down. They built housing for the homeless but when they got done the units cost over 700k each.
They’re just piling more debt  upon debt to the problems.

I don’t know exactly what you mean by Financials less crony capitalism but I don’t blame the young when it comes to Tec or even day trading or looking else where. I do fear all those who have those skills and much better skills than many foreign country’s will not be passing on those skills to future generations as they were once that got better and better where buildings were still standing after a quake aside from a real bad one but saved more lives or still standing compared to other countries.

In border states starting in the late 60’s mass illegal migrants were in full swing. They first started talking up all the factory jobs and construction where they could work for cash and even knew where they could hang out for any temp work for cash like near building supply stores. They outsourced many of those jobs. Most of the factors are now home either driven  out by crony capitalism to other country’s or greed and also heard that mostly  in the eastern states the union was working like some kinds mob extorting money from businesses. With the mass immigration brought inflation and lots of crime. They stolid anything not nailed down and sometimes them and brought a immoral and criminal culture to the youth as well as generational welfare. The young struggling and taxed for all this and cost of living started thinking why should they work either to support them when even all the benefits their getting Americans aren’t. A sort of boycott. Now it’s happening in Chicago and New York also seeing their towns turn into a asphalt jungle.
Cost of living too high and threats of homelessness’s crime and theft on the rise despite all the money their giving these migrants.
Then apts turn to slums by sketchy apt owners. Migrants paying cash for more people than are suppose to be there or other tricks driving housing up that way too.

I can bet on a general basis at the same time business had lobbyist of people involved in setting the minimum wages that are subsidized by gov welfare to pay their workers instead of them that also effects skilled workers wages down the line. If a unskilled workers can make as much money or sometimes more as a skilled worker why wouldn’t the skilled worker get a easier job for the sane pay so they’d have to raise their wages too. They’d rather see them living in low wage jobs and keep the money for themselves.
