Nassim Nicholas Taleb is famous for writing The Black Swan, but these days he’s warning of a white swan, a risk that rather than being rare is somewhat more probable—and in this case coming for America’s economy. Like an increasing number of economic observers, Taleb says the cause of this calamity-in-plain-sight is the federal budget deficit. He says it’s swelling by such an extent that it would take a miracle to duck the damage that’s on the way. And he’s not alone. Thanks for the explanation. Re the stock market. What I was mentioning was related to the futures markets gold USD and rates. So maybe they are similar to stock traders. But we all know, the big pigs at the trough like JP Morgan Chase etc, that like to do what tptb want them to do. Like shorting or selling some thing that they don’t really have.

Here’s the longer version of both 10 am rule or closing. Good for some day traders if they have fast platforms preferably level two. Occasionally I justed it during a peak before a target price sell or the observe to gauge a normal range when deciding stops even if manual depending on percentage you choose. Since it’s just a hobby when I’m paying attention you can try things you wouldn’t normally do to test a hypothesis.

I can only surmise that the buyer of those upside OTM TQQQ calls, either is short gamma and is protecting his position from an upside squeeze, or knows others who are short gamma and wants to participate in the Tom foolery that is called a “market”
