Well my friend who’s more open minded about both Bitcoin and Gold brought it up today and a petty much the price at 2500 and told her its up another hundred.  Her husband from here still not interested. She brought it up so is paying attention. Said some people she knows differ between Bitcoin and Gold and which I would choose. I would choose both for different reasons. It gave me the opportunity to bring up the digital fiat and to all the dollar only people are going to be screwed. Yes it better to stay quiet and the world will still be buying anything they sell.

Scum lost the battle this week, but it wasn’t from a lack of effort.

Yeah, I guess maybe the phyzz buying around the world is starting to finally put pressure on the prices? Seems like if it were just paper, they’d crush it like they always do. The fact that this is going on with the dollar up (and the SM down) all day is pretty amazing to me.

I’m with you though, quiet buying can go on as long as they want as long as the metals are moving up. It will just make the panic buying in the US that much stronger. At least they are being treated as monetary metals, even silver. I wonder what silver would be doing if they weren’t putting pressure on with paper contracts?

Even the miners are doing OK. Volume has picked up substantially in the last hour or two. probably option related.

I’m not watching too carefully although took some hedges off I might have to put back on. Too carefully as if the dollar breached support or if it’s setting for a bounce with new highs in other sectors. I’m glad too PMs are moving quietly. I don’t think there’s too much they can do to stop the phyzz with the world buying. . They’d have to  sell and the way things are that might not be a good idea even for the dollar. So with any bounce in the dollar we’ll see were it goes with the phyzz or makes just a pull back to next level of it moves up. It doesn’t seem to be making much of a difference today. If dollar breached a major support somebody should say something so maybe it didn’t yet.

They have a new all you can eat Japanese restaurant I told my friend about who is American but born in Japan. Too much food even frogs legs but hear the sushis good. Too bad I don’t have a bigger appetite for that all though will pass on the frogs.  I never heard of a Japanese buffett.  I guess that was a hit, she’s got people including her American veteran friends as she married one and ber church friends eager to check it out before we even get there. Her husband involved in the market and does good will not touch PM stocks and government retired can’t even mention it or something may happen. I don’t know but don’t want to find out.

I actually do think our day has come, and it’s funny, no one in the US markets even seems to know it. I’d guess that’s probably a good thing, fewer weak hands to flush. When we hit $3K in December, maybe they’ll take note. 🙂

We are strengthening this am – go figure. Shares starting to strengthen as well. Dollar still up but showing signs of fatigue. Rates up a bip and a half now.

No reason for us to be strong at the moment, but somehow we are. Like it. Hopefully it holds and continues.

can we hold the gains? I have my doubts because the dollar is up a bit and has been moving up steadily the last couple of hours. The SM futures are also down a little, so I don’t know. 10 yr down a bip.

Nevertheless, gold is sitting at $2609 and silver at $31.30, up $23 and $.46 respectively. They were a little higher earlier but not much. Good to see for sure. The shares are firm, but not crazy, NEM up 1% premarket.

We’ll see who blinks when the Crimex opens. I know the funds added shorts in the last COT as the banks covered, but that was a week and a half ago.

Hopeful, but won’t be surprised if they take us back down. We know how they are with round numbers.

Note how the 200 day is capping all the Hi’s and how we are building a bull flag to break above the 50 d Av……the 2nd chart is the Spread going back to 1998 on a quarterly chart….which clearly shows how depressed the spread is still …at the record lows…..

When I used to run and hike in the mountain but mostly when I ran next to streams and rivers the crickets and birds were my eyes especially at sun down. Id have to be pretty hungry to eat them but maybe for fishing bait if I had to. They never failed to let me know if I was being followed. Come to think of it even in front of me to turn back. I went back one time to where I turned back to see what tracks I could find. What I found was a freshly killed donkey. I never seen anything like it. Only his head and spinal cord was still attacked was left whit a look of horror on its face. I wasn’t sure if it was human or animal when I turned back so guessing it was a pack of animals in but what takes all the animal like that leaving it’s spinal cord still attacked like a fish. Nothing left, not even the tail and in one night.

Someone told me after all this time Apmex is selling on eBay without all those fees. Have to tell the kids about it.

Seems like some of the PM stocks look like they are topping for now while others just starting to move. Bitcoin doing well and so far may be heading for a next move still a little volatile.

I guess the platinum have moved on expectation cars may start selling again when the real hitlers announced a delay in mandatory EVs by China only at the expense of US and EU manufacturing and interest rates falling.

So higher prices for cars housing etc all continue to rise  unless they don’t take the bait yet till you will own nothing but be happy because why work for nothing when they turn around and give it to someone else. The government will provide tiny houses and public transportation as long as they got the money and permission so they know where they are at all times and provide climate friendly  low carbon food like crickets and beetles.
