A man was to walk his daughter down the isle on her wedding. I don’t trust bitcoin either. The power goes out and what do you have? Nothing! I’ve never understood the lure of it. Having said that, it’s done great and many people have become rich off of it. Probably because the riggers haven’t found a good way to short it.

Promise of Bitcoin that you can’t show him you actually have, or can transfer to his account, cash or silver or gold? I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t take the promise of Bitcoin at a later date, and it’s not even likely the guy has a Bitcoin account. Even if we were Bitcoin billionaires, our ability to pay would be zero. I don’t understand the lure of Bitcoin, it feels like it’s a front for the CBDC’s.

Captain – makes sense. Seems the last COT report, the bigger buyer of short positions were the non-commercials. It almost looks to me like they are playing the same game but in the opposite as the banksters. I’ve always felt the only reason the banksters ever held any long positions was to dump them on the market at opportune times so they could bank their shorts for a profit.

Looking at it in hindsight, it looks like today’s early ramp was a setup to try and trigger waterfall selling going into the Comex close.

They failed miserably. I would not be surprised if somebody in the big eight, or smaller dealers, are covering some shorts here.

That, with the constant foreign buying is giving da boyz a big headache you can be sure of that.

Unlike Gold, Bitcoin Is Not A Safe-Haven

The chart below shows a tale of two assets: gold and Bitcoin. At approximately 9:32 AM EST, reports began circulating that Iran was imminently preparing to launch ballistic missiles at Israel. Interestingly, gold and Bitcoin responded in starkly opposite ways—gold surged while Bitcoin plummeted. This price action confirmed a long-standing frustration I have with Bitcoin: it behaves more like a risk asset than a true safe-haven. If Bitcoin were truly “digital gold,” I would expect it to rise during periods of geopolitical turmoil, not decline.

continuing to hang around here at $2650. I don’t see that as anything significant other than a semi-round number, but it seems to have become a magnet as Sinclair used to call them. Hopefully it’ll end up being a launching pad. Who knows.

The Captain picked up on the Yen carry trade that I clearly missed the last week or so. It is definitely unwinding but nevertheless gold remains strong, silver is just a surprise. Will be interesting to see what happens when the Yen carry reversal runs its course.

Not sure how we get more bullish than things seem to be right now.

I’ve seen predictions that you could be right about nukes. One particular group put the date around October 9th, another on October 12th. Scary stuff. I have no desire to survive a nuclear exchange.

What our pm’s are doing may be meaningless in a couple weeks. They cannot give up power to Trump, RFK, Elon, Flynn, Tulsi, etc. The whole government would be shaken from the sheer amount of arrests and exposure.
