Pretty good earnings. We can probably take a queue from the avg. gold sales price of $2,145 and plug that in for most of these miners. In a real market that will be helpful to the pm shares and their earnings. It also would bode well for their earnings in the next quarter, as April avg. prices have been even higher, near $2,300.
Looking forward to the earnings of the silver producers, primarily AG, as they held a lot of metal off the market. I’d think those earnings will be really good. Then again, in the pm market good earnings don’t always translate into higher share price, although they should this time around because it’s been more than a single month of higher prices.
That’s the hope anyway.
