Why Are Deepfakes Taking Over YouTube?
Deepfakes are taking over YouTube to the point where real news by real people is drowning in an ocean of illusion.
In a recent post I mentioned we are living in times of unprecedented change where everything that is not true is being exposed. While the post was about the divergence of paper and physical silver prices, the key message I wanted to get across is that this is taking place everywhere and in every aspect of life from international affairs to the daily shopping.
Yanis Varoufakis, former Greek finance minister, is one of the most AI impersonated people. A recent interview reported that only one in five videos are actually Yanis himself.
Why is this happening?
Maintaining the Illusion serves the vested interests of elites. Many do not wish men and women to experience an awakening as the lies fade. Deepfake represents one strategy being employed to mask this transformation in human consciousness. As people are increasingly distrustful of traditional authority, drowning genuine content with garbage keeps the real world hidden from view.
Yanis has complained to YouTube and Meta, but within seconds of a video being taken down another appears with the same content. The companies appear to have no interest in stemming the flood.
Interestingly the strategy may backfire. With so many AI generated deep fakes YouTube is becoming unusable. It may be the platform is actually self-destructing. Men and women may simply stop using it.
This is ironic given Google’s founding vision is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. By deliberately flooding its content with deepfake the company may not only be committing suicide but taking a leading role in waking us from our stupor.

Mr Copper this is one exercise that can help compensate for pain. Like if you have back injuries strengthen the muscles around it to take the pressure off the back or joints. However if something comes along that decompensated that ability that’s when pain can get worse.

Why not protesting because they’ve been silenced and many see them as their enemies and so do others recognize they can’t or won’t co exist like. Hindus tried to tell me before 911. No arguments other than people have to realize certain leaders of certain countries don’t reflect the mindset of all the people of that country as far as as into a country, especially when that countries had different religions. I think (and absolutely no offence intended!) that your use of the phrase illustrates my point. The continued killings of Arabs and Christians in the West Bank, over many decades, or the slaughter of 34 American servicemen on USS Liberty, by Jews, is anti-semitic?
Why not use more accurate phrases – anti-Israel if you are criticising the state, anti-Jew for the tribe and anti Zionist for the religious fanatics? I think this would be more meaningful. But less suited to the narrative controllers because it might make people pause to think about what they are really talking about.
Our Judeo-Christian heritage is another red herring frequently trotted out; another woke phrase to make it sound like Jews and Christians are, if not the same, very similar, brothers, common roots etc. It is a complete misnomer. There is no common heritage. For instance, the Westminster system which the Knesset is a direct copy of has no Christian heritage. The western legal system is based on Roman-Greek systems, or even back as far as Indo-Persian roots 4,500 years ago. The Jewish legal system is based upon animal sacrifices for every wrongdoing (unless it is death). Westerners and Christians have nothing in common with a tribe that openly considers goyim (a derogatory phrase in itself) as inferior to them, because we don’t think and work the same way as they do.
What led me down this rabbit hole was wondering why two followers of Allah chose to attack members of the Jewish tribe on Bondi Beach. People don’t go randomly shooting others unless they have some sort of grudge or are high on SSRIs or other mind altering drugs. You will never put an end to the cycle of violence unless you look for the causes, real or perceived, that perpetuate it. Just maybe the cowardly, bullying murders committed by components of one tribe has lead to the cowardly shooting of members of that tribe by another?
