Why are bonds, the dollar, oil and pm’s rallying together? SM down a little.

Can’t actually bank on pm’s holding up, but why the others?

Generally one might think that’s a sign that something isn’t quite right in LaLa land. The 10 year has moved up pretty quickly over the last two weeks or so. Yields going from 4.7 down to 4.2%. Who’s buying bonds and accumulating dollars. More importantly maybe is why?

The party always ends eventually, in musical chairs, the music stops suddenly.

Bonds and the dollar are huge markets and not so easy to move. Leaves me scratching my head a little.

Scanning both gold and utility stocks I remembered yours and checked it  better.

Yes has head and shoulders reverse but could take another path first. I can’t bring it forward but see that Gap it made awhile back that didn’t fill. Looks like it tried to fill with some fat fingers down but maybe a fake out. So two choices depending on economy, it could ignore it OR keep moving sideways and move down and try to fill it at some point and then move back up and over the shoulder. So if it does still respecting stops along the way and does try to fill that gap  it could be a last call good buying op before a next significant move up.

If we get hurricane’s like they said this year could happen it just might. I forget which gas stock it was now but think it was on AMEX I  bought for 80 cents share I remember back before Katrina formed when oil and gas stocks were a lot less expensive then and had a 3 dollar target I thought would take forever and sold it

Then Katrina came in and it went past 80 cents to 5 a share in a hot minute after I sold it. May have been a company away from the Gulf. Some talking head said they expect gas to go up this summer because it’s also expected to be a hot summer. I don’t know the correlation to that other than gas at the tank. A friend in Texas said there’s two formations out there already and only June. One heading one way one heading towards them. Sounds like she’s gonna have a long wet summer in that heat. Meanwhile California will bake and hope no fires.

So far so good, I suspect Gold will bounce off the $2300 area.

Btw I sold the Nat Gas long BOIL yesterday, not knowing if what it would do today. It went lower so I’m happy. I sold as it started sliding. As my profit was cut in half. I think Nat Gas is too cheap and will go up over time. I’ll buy it back if it starts going higher.

I suppose that we are to pray for our enemies, but God will certainly call them out for their deeds. I’ve had enough of this world and those that pull the levers of power. I suspect at some point we’ll need to stand firm against them.
