Amazing. Just 1% gold in the medal. With all the pomp and festivities and money they generate, they make the medal little more than a worthless trinket with the only value being in the person that holds it.

SM futures up, dollar up, pm’s up a little, bonds up (rates falling), Bitcoin up
Can’t really square everything up with the dollar but things are what they are.
Course, it’s very early here on the east coast and anything can happen in the next few hours.
Gold jumped above $2400 this evening
They’ve got that under control but it’s interesting to me why it would. Always seems like it opens up $.10 or down $10.
Silver not as much but up almost 1% at one point.

My acres are all wooded with old growth hardwoods , very beautiful in warm weather , but nasty winters . You can grow edible crops year round . I would need a greenhouse if I move back up there .

Pretty glaring as 3M – MMM is up 23% today. Obviously, that’s pushing it up today.
But then I came across the financials. As a group they are up 10% over the last month.
No reason I can see for that other than they are anticipating a rate cut. JMHO
At least gold held some gains today.
