Thing is, even though large cap producers have moved higher this year and are a little overbought, they remain at historically low valuation levels. As well, and in his usual fashion, and as posted earlier, Steve St. Angelo has been kind enough to share his recent analysis on the aggregate silver cost structure at present, putting a cost basis floor under $26 in spades. Meaning any dips below this level should be bought up very quickly.

Yep, all seems that way.

I’m surprised gold is finding buyers at $2500 to be honest. Course they’re beating the shares like baby seals. Today would explain why the shares were weak yesterday too. There must be a memo that goes out amongst the scum that outlines the plan a couple days in advance.

No volume, so they can push things around pretty easily. Next week the rubber meets the road, and I suspect things will get real, both in markets and politics. Hopefully we’ll be the beneficiaries.

So, they had to try and attack the PMs today to get them down as much as possible before the light print in the PCE Friday to justify a rate cut in September. It’s the narrative thing. They need to close PMs off the highs here to get the monthly charts not looking so good; and, of course, to borrow from Slick Willy, it’s the election – stupid.

So, we’re in trouble this am. Trying to take gold below $2500. Silver getting smashed. Not sure this is a surprise, since silver was unable to take out $30.

We have the PCE coming out this week, and it will have to read rate cut friendly. Interesting rates are down a little today.
This could be a hit in front of softer numbers, or something worse I guess. Who knows?

one thing to keep in mind, recessions generally start when the inverted yield curve goes back to normal. The longer the yield curve is inverted, the recession is generally deeper and longer. The yield curve has been inverted over 600 days which indicates a long, deep recession.

As bad as I hate to say it, Trump may clear the economic underbrush with an economic forest fire. That may explain the phiz/stock debacle. Nobody wants paper of any kind when the fan gets really dirty in the midst of the big fire.

So, door #2 – the war option seems plausible, plus an economy in ruins.

As President, they will use every legal measure possible to stop everything he does. The thing is, the last two elections should have been huge red waves, and this one should be as well. But it won’t, they’ll make sure Congress is in opposition to him.

What a mess. The best possible scenario in my mind would be red states seceding from the US, making DC obsolete. What a time to be alive. At the end of the day, I believe God is in control and all will be according to his plan.

yeah, shares being sat on, the metals a bit too since last week. Dollar heading down in earnest now, so not sure why the shares aren’t leading the metals. I suppose since the volume is so anemic they can sort of move these things anyway they want. Shares should definitely be doing better though.
