I haven’t given up on today just yet, although it’s a stretch for silver to get back above $29 today.

Dollar looks weak to me. SM too, although the perfect numbers tomorrow and maybe they’ll catch some shorts off guard again. They’ve been doing that for years now.

Today is the first day we’ve gone inverse the SM. Hopefully we’ll hold and some buyers will take notice.

Their favorite toy Bitcoin is faltering, they have to go somewhere.

Don’t know anything about Gatos or AG really but looks like AG will get the obligatory beating for having the nerve to buy another miner. Open looks to be sub $5. I wonder if they’ll ever return to their former glory.

….is paying roughly a 16% premium for Gatos. Gatos is primarily a silver producer with their big mine in Mexico. Perhaps AG thinks that they’ll get more return on their investment when it comes to undervalued Silver…..

I hope so! Higher silver prices wouldn’t hurt either. Profits for the silver miners are not exactly stellar at this point.

Thanks for that news. I have no idea what the Fed will do. I’m really impressed with gold’s tenacity will everything falling around it. I was expecting it would loose some momentum but not as bad as everything else as far as the phyzz anyway. But then, the central banks are buying thanks to the current politics. the world is buying. It’s heading for that 3000 target.

I do believe the Fed will go a half point instead of a quarter. Could be the driving factor. The jobs numbers lately have been abysmal. Don’t know what they’ll be tomorrow but if they’re better than expected, no one will believe them because all the good numbers have been revised down.

The Fed needs to cut and they know it. I’m not too worried about inflation because the economy is falling off a cliff. Hard to see rates making that big of a difference until they get back to zero. They will because the US economy has been built on 0% rates.

$2500 in the rear view mirror this morning. Silver up near 2%. This is unexpected. No big move in the dollar, although tilting downward. SM trying to bounce back some this morning without much success and is flat.

Bitcoin down 2% (huh?) Oil up a little but below $70. Rates flat. PM shares firm but not crazy up.

It’s very early and there’s a lot of eco data this morning at 0830 EST. Hard to see that having too much of an impact, but you never know.

We didn’t capitalize on the move down in the dollar yesterday, so maybe this is make-up action. Regardless, looks good to me for now.

BTW Maybe the same for Nivida. Someone put out a statement that they were getting subpoenaed by the DOJ for antitrust issues. They were leading the tech stocks as far as I know. They wondered who would do that to them. Cost of doing business in the states with this administration. Something going on with Google too. It’s like someone is attacking the tech leaders.

Yes I’m aware of him and his micromanaging dictatorial ideations that were so out there that even the demos didn’t give him enough votes for him to run when he probably thought if Trump could run for president so could he and might now have a personal grudge against him imo. It looks like he sent out his flying monkeys for mischievous political monkey business.

I wonder who was behind Reuters?  Maybe they can sue them for a tort that interfered with their business putting out false statements that resulted in a financial damage.  They may not be able to prove they did that to influence the election and as they would say interfering with ” democracy” but that it caused them a financial loss.

I don’t know if you noticed but there’s people wall street that are suddenly starting to politicize the SM, particularly Bloomberg News that’s not fooling me anyways with their little comments that are leftist leaning towards comrade Harris who’s about as economic as a post Turtle. Whom ever it benefits, China, India, oil countries,  it won’t be us. I don’t know if they can put any pressure on the Fed or not.

Dollar is pausing because ” this isn’t a game IMO” with the consequences anyways due to inflation.. just saying.  Apparently there’s betting going on about the Fed not only lowering interest rates but even bigger than people are expecting. I’m going to LAMO if there is no rate change.
