Above $72 this am up $1.82
Dollar down a little, mostly against the Euro and Sterling, up against the Yen. SM up a little. Silver trying to bounce back some. Gold and Bitcoin flat.
What’s odd is bonds selling off, rates rising, up near 5 bips to 3.8%. That might be a headwind for gold.
What if rates start to rise against the Fed cuts because nobody wants our bonds? Well more cutting and QE of course.

The first chart a Quarterly shows just how far the ratio has fallen….0.0665 to .0154 at present…… but now has a very good base to rally off ……and if we do get back to where it was, means the Hui/GDX will more than quadruple , if Gold just stay here.
The second chart a monthly show we still have a lot of work to do, to break out of the base, which in turn says this bull has a lot longer to run yet….and then when one looks at the Quarterly, it say the Bull in the shares hasn’t really started……

When I talked to the rep he said that the high cost was because the deal was done on the Aussie exchange. I got the impression it was a flat fee. If I’d been buying thousands of shares the cost would have been the same.

Your right about Americans last. They don’t understand it as well as other countries who had currency changes when ours didn’t cancel all these years before the current cancel culture anyways. It’s already getting too late for many at current prices. Even my Japanese friend recognizes it. I gave her a silver eagle for a gift years ago and her grandson one at birth and a Aussie Koala for his first year. She still watches it.
