Kidding aside surges aren’t the same as ocean swimming. Think white water class 20. Keep your body out stay on top you don’t know what’s under it. Flip to your back use your feet to push yourself away from objects you couldn’t swim around if too much debris but I don’t know how that works with large houses. .

Currents are currents as long as you can swim to something and get out but might not be the case in surges and slam you into a house or something and can’t push yourself away with the water pressure so dodge large objects in front of you if you can.

It’s close to a cat 4 with 125 mpr winds. Hope it’s far enough away from you. That fishing net would of came in handy.

Yes. They are pretty far north from us. If you look on the map, we are near Englewood, which says 4-7 ft. It seems like it might be higher than that. We already have a few homes that have taken on water that are on the bay, and the tide is coming in. The biggest concern would be drainage, since the rain drains into the bay. Fortunately, we’ve had very little rain, and no rain since early this morning. Thank the Lord.

It has developed into a Cat. 3 now and is close as it will get to us. Winds are said to be 43 mph, although I’d say it’s a little heavier than that right now. The best thing is that it’s moving north at 20 mph and we’ll be at back end pretty soon. High tide is 6 pm. I’ll take another look at the bay then.

They are calling it an “Unsurvivable Storm Surge” in Apalachee Bay, with storm surges up to 20 feet.

Right now the outer band is over us, but the eye is about 150 miles offshore. Winds about 35 mph, but gusting to 50 I’d guess. Oddly, clouds but no rain. I am concerned with the surge in the bay over the next few hours. I’m a block or so away, and the bay is already on the property of some of the bayfront homes. Couple more feet of surge and they’ll be taking on water.

Cabal came in and tamped things down a bit. Algo’s programmed tightly with any little move up in the dollar. Smacks of desperation to me.

Or pm’s fell, the numbers were inline with expectations. GDP anyway. Maybe expectations were for a miss. Durable goods were flat but were expected to be -2.7%, so that’s better. The weekly payrolls were better but they are always better and phony anyway.

But lo and behold, we’re coming back and sticking it to the scum. Silver now up 1%

True. They still have the power but it doesn’t seem as bad as it used to be. At least we’re putting up a good fight these days. You’re right, they’ll keep doing it until they can’t. Hopefully that time is just around the corner.

And yes, they have the power of the printing press, making it profoundly aggravating knowing they are holding gold and silver down using your own money against you.

Looking at the bright side of things, if one looks at a four-hour chart, you will see this is likely only a correction, with prices set to rebound soon. (Maybe tomorrow with the PCE)

It’s easy for them to fudge the GDP numbers because it’s just air – fake money going from one place to another. What’s more, the election models require a strong GDP right into the election to ensure an incumbent win, so they will pull all the stops in terms of the lies.

So, if you are wondering why the bull market in PMs is not spreading out to the smaller stocks and silver, this is why. They will pay for this down the road however, as very little new supply will be coming online until metal prices move higher as companies will simply not take the risk of spending large amounts in silver producers marginal deposits until prices get further away from current levels. A larger correction in silver for example would bring prices back into the red for many companies – all in costs.

This risk will not be mitigated until the money spigots are wide open again.

This should come next year once they pull back on money printing post the election.

Just a 20% correction in the broad market should do it.

They will be sending money to your bank accounts again.

Hopefully it won’t be to a CBDC account.
