? These people are lunatics, nobody in any of our countries wants war except for this small group of elites. The “men of renown.” But they are more than just men. This is a spiritual battle and they are captured souls that do evils bidding.

Think about how little sense it makes for Europe and the US to not be natural allies of Russia. Problem is that Russia is largely white and more importantly Christian. Russia would be especially helpful to Europe, they have the resources and should be a valued partner. Nope, they’ve been made into an enemy. Europe has committed suicide to their native cultures which were largely white and Christian throughout history.

It’s odd to me that people can’t see the obvious, what’s behind all this and why.

Roughly 40 years ago , Westinghouse had a division in JAX , FL called Offshore Power Systems ( OPS ). The concept was to have a floating nuclear plant miles offshore protected by a seawall which , if memory serves me right , was to be made of large concrete structures shaped like the jacks that girls played with back in the 1950’s . Those would be cast onshore then piled up by dumping them in a circle around the chosen site until high enough to resist the largest waves (rollers) of hurricane storms. Once in place , the floating platform would be constructed inside and on top of that , the PWR nuclear plant with condenser cooling provided by the seawater . There were concerns about integrity of the cable bringing the power to land , etc.
As the concept was losing momentum , I needed manpower for one of my reports under contract to EPRI ( Electric Power Research Institute ), and a young East Indian engineering manager provided input .
He would be retired now , but had he had input in creating a seawall around that solar installation , the devastation might have been avoided .
Personally , I believe large scale solar installations outside of arid desert locations are financially doomed , as are windmills for grid power . Burying the huge blades at end of life (more frequent than planned) is an ecological disaster .

I think we can safely say that these times are particularly bad ……At other times of war we could easily see who the bad guys were…..this time it sure ain’t the supposed enemy…..plus we have in Trump someone who is prepared to negotiate an end to the Ukraine war…..so surely any sane person would allow him to do that and then re-evaluate if no solution is found etc…….to deliberately make matters seriously worse,before his term begins are the actions of lunatics…..and then to top all that, no one knows who is calling the shots in the US…so we could end the world on the say so of nobody knows who…..that sure ain’t Democracy.

Others have lived under lunatics…but I sure haven’t until now.

What a setup for silver miners, in my view.

We’ve seen a significant selloff in these stocks since the elections, which I believe is completely unwarranted given the ongoing secular rise in underlying metal prices.

The $SIL ETF is currently retesting a 13-year resistance line that has now turned into support.

Meanwhile, the resilience of silver prices suggests they may be leading the way.

There is a big catch-up for these stocks ahead, in my opinion.

Canadian dollar getting spanked against the USD on Trump’s tariffs, same with the Mexican peso at 20-1. His opening salvo in the war on illegals.

Maybe it’s the time to travel given the exchange rates, although that doesn’t seem to matter as much as it used to.

Funny, I’m used to saying that after an up day, not after a down one. Usually, we do get downside follow thru, especially after a day like yesterday.

The dollar is down again, although not as much as yesterday and the 10 yr. is up 2.5 bips. Oil recovering 1%.

I hadn’t really paid much attention to the market yesterday while we were getting clubbed, so I missed the big move down in Bitcoin. It was down more than gold % wise. It continues down a bit this am another 1/2%. I think it is important that Bitcoin got hammered with pm’s, are investors placing them in the same asset category now? Gives me some hope that yesterday was not as big of a deal as it looked. Gold basically did a 50% retrace of the move of the last couple weeks, and silver went to retest the recent lows for the third time.

Now we’re seeing a small bounce this am, at least to start the day. I kinda think that’s a good thing, especially if I’m right about this being an orchestrated attack at an opportune time and nothing much more than that. I also didn’t think the shares were hit as hard as maybe they should have been yesterday. It also explains why the shares performed so poorly last week; they knew the slam was coming. That’s my hope anyway, and that we resume the upward momentum.

The dollar might be finally turning, same with bonds. Been a long time coming, but we’ll see.

Can’t argue that he is pro-Israel. Time will tell. He will need to suffer another attack of some sort and lose an eye and use of one of his arms. He’ll also need to get the entire world to love him somehow. Nothing that performing a few miracles can’t fix. 🙂

I certainly don’t profess to know who the AC is and doubt I’ll ever know. I also know there are many videos out and people who agree with you. The only thing I actually know is what the Bible says about him.

maddog – usually, downside T/A works, so maybe a big correction is coming just in time for Christmas. It’s funny that we’re the only sector that frequently suffers “big corrections.” Everything else just marches higher for years on end. It will be interesting to see if we made the top in the dollar and bottom in bonds. Not sure I’ve ever seen pm’s perform so poorly with the dollar and rates getting shredded. Maybe it’s a new trend?

I got to tell my daughter in law to ask the ones who are sending my grandson and other school kids to Europe which they will be in France and UK and German and Poland what is their plan B to get those kids out of there if something should happen. They just might get more of a lesson on European history than they bargained for and a lot of Pizzed off relatives.
