Yes another thing is child bearing woman I believe should start calcium and vita D for saving  bones and teeth and keep them up or at least their prenatals if nursing and drawing more calcium. Also know what beverages drain it.  They need at least light weight bearing exercise rest of their life and calcium and vita D. The D helps the immune system that apparently also helps fight against different cancers. If the bone cannot make the different kinds of blood cells there can be trouble including blood cancer or one of the ways to get it. So yes bones affect health. Plus porous bones are more fragile and also can cause pain as like in the back.

Those with a more sedentary life style need to compensate with weight bearing exercise and all need to help replace calcium and vita D. One doctor at work told me when something was going around and we had to close off a floor I mentioned vita D and sun with elder patients many years ago and vita D supplements during flu and RSV type outbreaks. He didn’t think that sun alone was sufficient for seniors because he felt that they we no longer absorbing and manufacturing enough vita D or getting enough sun. He believed in supplements and would check their levels. One of the rarer doctors at the time and he was from India but still not the same as others from there. More like DYODD. More are now. They should as even kids aren’t getting enough sun, their on computers and games.

My daughter is in a bad way right now since the accident  but luckily is on the right medicine now with cultures but they had to remove a couple of screws in leg plates because pus was coming out. Osteomyelitis: She was at risk for osteomyelitis with open fractures and hardware. I still haven’t found out if they put antibiotics along the bone during hardware placement and if it’s titanium or stainless steel and  they can’t take the hardware out yet. So external fixation not a option. Stainless steel is more prone to infection than titanium. They should of been watching that closer. Now one of her medicines your not supposed to take dairy products. Don’t that figure. This has been some wild ride and not over yet.

You make many very intelligent posts to this forum so you must have reasons why you believe GoldBacks are a viable alternative to, and replacement for the US Dollar.

Amals mentioned one of my greatest objections or criticisms to the GoldBack idea, and it was one that I previously mentioned that got scrubbed from the site twice when I published it. IMO silver in its many forms would be the most workable form of money for small to medium sized purchases when gold  is too large.

Unless I misunderstood what was said in that GoldBack presentation, they said they would take an ounce of gold, divide it into 1000 portions and place 1/1000 of that ounce of Gold in each $1 GoldBack to make 1000 $1 Goldbacks….and the same ratio for the $5 GoldBack.  Each $5 GoldBack would have 1/200 of an ounce of gold, and so on for GoldBacks of larger denominations….. and every GoldBack would have the amount of gold imbedded (printed) into it according to it’s face value, then it would be sealed in plastic to preserve each GoldBack.

IMO, this is equivalent to throwing gold to the wind, at least in those smaller denominations. I think it would not be possible to economically retrieve one thousandth  of an ounce of gold from a $1 Goldback, or any of the other smaller denomination, therefore whatever gold was in them would be, and already has been, lost and of no value since it cannot be recovered.

Anyway, just a piece of my 2 cents, and I have not accounted for the 100% (double the cost) premium you mentioned to buy these GoldBacks….I think a better bargain would be to just buy silver and gold phyz for close to spot, and have their full purchasing power to use…..BWTHDIK! You are both wrong. 200 million is only 0.01 % of 2 trillion
And one more thing, why would I spend 100% premium on goldbacks. When gold is going to go up I will get the same profit. And the market is going to take silver coins for sure.

RE: Pelosi

You are right in that the bone could have broken and THEN she fell.  That is exactly what happened to my mother.  Calcium poor diet.  She was standing in soft garden soil, talking to a neighbor.  She went to take a step and toppled over with a broken femur.  Fortunately landed in soft soil and the neighbor was there to call for help.  Orthos couldn’t patch the splintered bone so installed two brace rods from each end of the femur, and put her on calcium supplements for the rest of her years.

Word has it that Pelosi suffered a broken hip.  She will be bedridden for a LONG time, and lucky if she can tolerate a wheelchair later.  That is practically a death sentence for an elder with poor bones that does not heal well… as I’m sure you know.

Edit: Ah, now I read she had a hip joint replacement.  A bit less serious than a whole hip bone ‘cage’ break, which leaves internal organs unsupported.    We shall see.

Re: Difficult/hard times and buying groceries or other small items by having to use gold. Isn’t that where silver, especially junk silver, comes into play? Lesser valued and smaller denomination assets to purchase lower valued goods?

Pelosi, with her life long history of a sedentary life with little or no physical work isn’t going to skate with no work injury’s or wear and tear because it can get porous or empty spaces and weaken the bones especially after a certain age which can affect anyone but particularly the sedentary who haven’t developed strong bones. Then you might add alcohol. So it’s not known but possible that the bone could of broken first when walking then she fell. She was also seen holding on to other people before or needing help getting back up for the take a knee photo op stund which could either be Neuro or was already having trouble. She needs to retire.

Captain Hook @ 21:04…Thanks….I’ve been called lots of things in my life but I don’t think I have ever been called common before.

I spent an hour this morning explaining my thoughts and reasons for my opinion, and when I posted it it all disappeared; The entire upload was gone and it took me a couple hours to decide to try to recreate my first post. My time was limited by then and I was not able to articulate it quite as well as my first post did, but I was running out of time so I posted it anyway, and guess what? That second post also disappeared. Not even the heading remained, but somehow the original heading reappeared. Regardless, I am again out of time so I wish you well with your Gold Backs. SNG

I can understand your opinion.

But to put things in perspective.

Premiums on buying Goldbacks are 100% right now.

Not too long ago (just a few years), they were as high as 600%.

But don’t forget, these are semi-civilized times. (no fear exists right now) When that ends, and institutions start going under en mass, expect prices to go through current premiums like a knife through butter.

So, at least you would still be eating without having to sell the farm with the lower denominations. (ex. you won’t have to barter an ounce of gold to get a few groceries.)

I realize this may sound like crazy talk based on your previous experience, but that is not uncommon.

Try not to be common.

Cheers

I do hope that’s what it is after the neglect the Chinese balloon got. Japan although are Ally’s now  was casing and taking a lot of pictures of military bases and pearl harbor including identifying the ships they were to target to the pilots before the attack.

One clue although was they said anyways it stopped on Thanksgiving Day but any foreign adversary could camouflage themselves to look American not to draw attention. Then on the other hand they looked like they were calling for attention with the amount of them especially when they followed the Coast Guard. I could also see where they wouldn’t’ say it was foreign not to cause panic. The problem is we can’t trust anything they say anymore.

If it’s a distraction it’s rather amateurish. It’s not going to stop the attention. Trump is getting, especially by making them look stupid or incompetent with security. It’s just going to demand more people are replaced.

Captain Hook @ 10:09….Sorry to have to say GoldBacks have never computed as a viable alternative for me!

Bitcoin and cryptos are just an extension of the dollar and fiat currencies …

Posted by Captain Hook @ 10:09 on December 14, 2024

… but Goldbacks are not.

So far six States have adopted Goldbacks as legal money. This year, it’s Florida’s turn.

And the pace of adoption looks set to accelerate further – eventually going parabolic. (this will be very good for the gold price)

Bitcoin will never be currency because it’s difficult to use. And it will never be money because it has no intrinsic value.

Goldbacks are increasingly filling this void as people are attempting to intelligently escape the vulgarities of fiat currency economy.

Currently there are only $200 million of Goldbacks in circulation. This is only 10 percent of bitcoin’s two trillion-dollar market cap.

True commodity money – money that cannot be counterfeited (or taxed) – money that will protect your wealth from government inflation at exactly the same rate as gold – because it is gold – and now in smaller / more fungible denominations – one must ask – ‘Is this like buying bitcoin ten years ago in terms adoption cycle?’

Me thinks it’s so … so spread the word – and buy Goldbacks to protect your wealth and spending power into the future.

Re Drones

My guess is that they are not a foreign powers, they are yours, but advanced military ones….why do they have standard lights on them, as required by Federal aviation regs……and the reason they are being flown in such a secret way, is to grab the populations attention , so people are distracted from Trump’s upcoming inauguration…I bet yr MSM is banging on about them non stop….or soon will be….It is a flat out joke that yr military know nothing about them, with all the kit you have to monitor air space…..no way could these things fly around, without being taken out if they wanted to…they don’t .

It is a physops from the Globalists……

Wait, what?

Geologists Might Have Stumbled Upon the Largest Gold Mine in the World

Parts:

A deposit of gold ore just discovered in China isn’t just giant. It’s supergiant. So much so, in fact, that Chinese experts claim it could be the largest deposit of any precious metal—not just gold ore—in existence today.

Already the world’s top gold producer with about 10 percent of global production, China is heavily dependent on the metal, using about three times more gold than it mines annually. A rate that high requires the country to purchase so much gold from other countries that it’s also the world’s top importer of the valuable metal. This new discovery has put the world’s gold markets on notice, enough so that the price of gold rose to $2,700 per ounce, according to CCN.com.
