PMI Services – don’t know what it looked like but judging from the SM and dollar, I’m guessing they missed. SM got an extra bump, and the dollar slipped a bit.
Silver has actually risen $.10 or so as well and the shares are coming back. So the report must have been weak.
I think since Trump is on the way in, we’ll start getting some real eco data that will show just how much Biden destroyed the economy.

There wasn’t any eco data that came out. This was just an old-fashioned raid on the metals to suck any buying interest out while the dollar fell. The 10 yr has come back to slightly positive now. I guess we can blame that – as if we don’t know exactly what this was.
That gave the criminals an excuse to pound the metals. Dollar didn’t jump, but that doesn’t matter in a manipulated market.

Took a gander at the base metals, and they aren’t participating. Copper is down $.03, zinc down over 1%.
Platinum and palladium are both up, but they seem more like pm’s than anything else.
Looks like energy and pm’s are leading the way, although wheat and soybeans are both up over 1%.
Silver moving north again and dragging gold with it. More importantly, the shares are starting to firm up as well. I don’t think we go anywhere without the shares putting in a decent effort.
Although it’s pretty volatile. Was up as much as $.86. now up $.62. Gold is doing nothing, up $3. They won’t allow both to soar. The shares aren’t really celebrating all that much, although it’s pretty early still.
I looked at the metals a couple times overnight and gold had been down, and silver up $.15. Whatever happened to silver has happened in the last hour or so.
The dollar is taking a header down almost 1% – no clue why. Rates are flat. Nasdaq soaring, up another 1%. Bitcoin up 1%, oil up another $.50
European markets are strong as well. Looks like the west is opening the new year with some optimism. Japan and China not so much, but Taiwan looks good.
I guess we’ll see what happens. Right now, it looks like a pop n’ stop, as the criminals work to move silver back toward $30. I’d feel a lot better if the shares were really ripping, but not yet.
