There’s no stopping the dollar train or the mass exodus out of bonds.

It’s taking a toll on the SM futures this am that were up nicely but now sinking quickly.

Oil up again. PM’s somehow flat and stuck at $2650. Bitcoin down another $1650

I imagine all the Wall Street bulls are praying for Captain Hook’s “soft” numbers on the Friday jobs report.

I consider us very lucky to be flat. If we can just hold up for a few days while everything else tanks, maybe some real money might come into the sector. Always dreaming.

Trump doesn’t want China and Russia snooping around and gaining influence. He’s mentioned them by name. There will not be another Cuba. Just as Russia won’t accept Nato on their doorstep (and Trump has acknowledged that he understands Russia’s their feelings about that), nor will Trump let Russia and China on his doorstep. I think these are just shots fired across the bow to make it clear his position is “KEEP OUT”. In the meantime he’s already started influencing Greenlanders himself.

A lot of this country suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome and already calls him crazy… or worse.  But time will tell if there is a method to his madness… as most of us believe.

We just don’t have enough interest in our little sector to sustain an entire day. Sucks because we were so strong early on. But so was the SM.

I like how we’ve held up, hopefully we can continue long enough to garner some buying interest.

I’m wondering if we are finally near the end of the everything rally that’s gone on for so long now. Seems like the SM has been churning for awhile.

Lots of good plans for the country while Biden trying to tag along and undermine him. Hope Trump doesn’t approve that bird flu vax and hand that decision over to RFK to investigate.

Makes me really like how we’re doing at the moment. Hope we hold.

yeah, we’ll have to see how things play out. The pm shares are tracking silver tick for tick, that’s for sure. I doubt there’s enough buying interest to keep it positive on the day, plus the move up in the dollar and with the 10 yr. up 7 bips, it’s a minor miracle that we’re still positive at all.

My sense is that tech, or at least the Mag 7, have about run their course. I think NVDA may have seen its’ highs for a while. Never know though.

If you’re right, and they want to hurt Trump/economy. Tech stocks is where they’ll start.

You are exactly right. That report was aimed squarely at PMs. (silver was threatening to trigger a buy signal above $30)

Look forward to many such negative reports going forward with the politization of everything. (they must keep PMs down in order to install the control state)

That said, and even though they have PMs back under control today, I am looking for some more ‘easy bake’ jobs numbers on Friday.

Some traders will be taking a four-day long weekend with the markets closed Thursday.

So, this could really send the tech shares flying. (new highs?)

Yet another reason to sell PM’s. (who needs them when you have NVDA falsified earnings at 100x)

Better than I would have thought for the size of the hit that the metals took, and also how the SM looks.

If I’m not misunderstanding, that’s good they kept her up on her academics. Things seem to be going backwards with wokism now but in a different way. When babyboomers and before we’re younger it didn’t seem to mean too much towards woman. They were expected to do domestic jobs and focused on that. There was a definite bias and there were no scholarships for woman. Two states particular Calif  were looking everywhere for me and I had the grade up till then even though we’re seen as important  and there was just none back then. Even academically we pretty much had to break out to college by ourselves. In  sports may not last forever less you want to be a coach or use it for some other areas education would be important especially people who don’t make it or suffer a injury.. Now those scholarships are being stolen by men claiming to be women.

I heard something funny the other day about the schools in the area of Texas that crashed into all those people in a car who’s husband tried to work there but was impossible to teach they way they had it set up amongst other things and their funneling money meant for the schools. There was a competence test they wanted the teachers to take. They put the tests and answers in a safe. Well they got caught trying to blow up the safe to get the test and answers. These were the teachers.

They must have been the best on record because they just wiped out half our gains in less than 2 minutes.

I love this sector.

Good start for the pm shares, even with the metals not all that strong. Shares providing leverage for the first time in awhile.

The big question is whether we can hold up all day and can the metals improve on these gains. There is no way we’re going to get to where we want to go if the best gold can do is to move up 1% in a day. We need to see some 3-4% up days for this to finally be “it.”

Ipso – you’re right about private schools or even homeschooling. My daughter was home schooled for a while when she was playing a lot of national tournaments. The school system was really demanding in term of her academic criteria.

Such an unbelievable thing for a teacher. Maybe a sports coach but even then.
