goldie, no MSM here.

Trump rarely gets a mention. Sure, Greenland, tariffs and he’s at Davos get mentioned. Maduro’s extraction. But Aussie MSM tends to be quite self centred.

I’m just curious if your hearing things on MSM about the US as maybe a diversion from what’s going on in their own countries europe the UK and the countries under its influence as their fall guy.

Where leaders are appointed and not elected destroying those great countries but yet they are more critical over a president that is working to save ours? A president that is no longer going to get stuck holding he bag for all the mismanagement, their globalist next, the wars they will start for their own profit but don’t want to fight while at the same time letting millions of grifters in to replace their own people per criminally insane Globalist. As long as they spoke and act ” proper ” about it as they jail their own people for speaking the truth.

They just stopped getting the respect they don’t deserve but the same respect they give their citizens.

Know them by their deeds.

The US oil majors are right on a major break out…..whatever Trump is doing it ain’t hurting Big Oil

bearle

Mr.Copper, I agree with you about manufacturing. Keep it in-house as much as possible.

Posted by ferrett @ 18:05 on January 21, 2026

Not only does it save money but ensures quality.

Sure, he’s better than the previous presidents who were actively working to destroy America. He was the only choice, aided by huge funding from himself personally and people like Miriam Abelson’s $400m. That doesn’t automatically mean the he is a sane or fit person to run the country, just that he could afford to run.

Setting aside his lack of diplomacy, which can be an advantage sometimes, shaking things up a bit, he seems to have no understanding of numbers whilst portraying himself as a brilliant businessman. Tariff revenue for the fiscal year to 15th January was $101bn.

https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/static-data/published-reports/dts/DailyTreasuryStatement_20260115.pdf

But tariff revenue for 2024 fiscal year was $96bn, or $8bn per month – so the extra Trumpian tariff revenue is running at about $250bn per year. With an annual deficit of $3tn. And debt of $39tn. Depending on how the $2,000 tariff dividend is applied it will cost between $280bn to $607bn – that is, the tariff dividend will exceed the revenue. It will ADD to the national debt. All his claims about tariffs, and most of his claims about the economy, are unhinged.

Venezuelan oil. Now he’s got the oil majors offside because they are telling him that you just can’t turn the taps back on and he’s refusing to accept it. And the shale producers because what oil is now coming to America is dropping the price enough to make drilling a no-no.

Well, we shouldn’t be surprised as he’s a real estate salesman. Never made anything in his life.

I thank you for the article. Trump I believe got elected by all the people like myself that stopped voting for the typical useless do nothing presidents we had after JFK.

I was in manufacturing, so I knew long ago, that you do NOT farm out work that we can do at home. After 1970 all I kept seeing was imported cars, then TVs consumer electronics, shoes and clothing, and tools and everything else killed the living standards here.

Sometimes by looking at the price of gold, I think the whole global financial system is starting to collapse, and all this Trump news is keeping peoples minds occupied to avoid it.

Also keep in mind earnings he speaks of at the end of the month A catalyst for miners then the video before that on Tarriffs that will hit UK and EU will likely drive premiums up to summarize. Like the EU said well the only thing tarriffs will do is bring prices up for consumers. 🙂  oookay Feb 1 starts at 10 percent then 25 percent. Got phyzz?.

ferrett @ 15:07 Re Your Trump Is Unhinged?

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:34 on January 21, 2026

All I know is we finally have a president with BALLS that gets things done. Hes not al all like all the girly-men presidents we had after JFK. I think hes doing a great job trying to bring the USA back out of necessity.

You don’t have to like a person’s personality to vote for him. I would not care if he was a criminal.  Why vote for a person with a nice friendly personality if hes not qualified to be a president, and lets all the other nations screw us.

Unhinged?

Posted by ferrett @ 15:07 on January 21, 2026

His letter to the Norwegian govt. complaining that he didn’t get the Peace prize after stopping 8 wars (really?) and that he was therefore gonna stop thinking about peace and do more for America? When did  a leader of a major country ever have a hissy fit over a piece of paper? Which isn’t awarded by the Norwegian govt. anyway. Yes, unhinged.

Slapping tariffs at random right left and centre with absolutely no thought behind them. Which will not only eliminate the deficit, enable income tax to be abolished, subsidise soy farmers but will actually pay down the $39tn of debt. And then having to backpedal. So additional tariffs collected to end Nov ’25 were $195bn.

DOGE on, DOGE off, DOGE back on again.

We’re going to take Greenland, by force if we have to. What makes it Danish anyway? Who are the Greenlanders to have any say in who owns them? Now it’s we won’t take it by force, but if you don’t give it to us (no consideration for the Greenlanders again) we will remember.

A whole list of things about the American economy which are not true, or won’t work.

Yep. Unhinged.

This ain’t just party …someone is throwing huge vol around to try and cascade a collapse…….it could fail badly, as so far no real collapse….they will have to sell for the next hour…just when there could be large institutional buying !!!

Party crashers trying to scare people out, some profit taking not much just have to watch if it bounces back with buying the dips.  More people coming in now buying both stocks and phyzz, others adding more.  Could be a good time without chasing to move things around like ipso just watching individual stocks.

Looks like this is a huge attempt by the Mining shorts to stop the break out……

Posted by Maddog @ 12:52 on January 21, 2026

anymore to the upside and the break out happens

looking at the daily we see a large down bar already……on NO news.

gdx/aud

on the hourly we see the huge hit right from the open in the first hour…no news, just straight down……these are caught shorts, trying to bully a a market they have bullied for decades, with impunity…..but a market that is waking up fast as to what is wrong.

Captain Hook @ 11:12 The Donald is a tad unhinged to boot.

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 12:50 on January 21, 2026

Why do you think Trump is unhinged? Anyway I started to listen to the video, it was good at first up until the 12 minute mark, and then he started bashing Trump?

Trump and his group KNOW that if the USA goes down every other country will also go down. I personally think they started too late to re-wealth or restore prosperity to the USA.

By the way, Peter Schiff  saying Trump and Greenland caused the price of gold to go up it total nonsense. The Fed Res Act of 1913 has caused all the inflation since 1934.

After that they finance WW I WW II Korea Vietnam etc etc wars and moon landings and they kept bashing gold ever since the 1970s, with rates to 21% to bash gold DOWN. To protect their funny money US Fed Note Fake US Dollar.

After 2008 and Bernie Madoff got caught I predicted that everybody and everything that was incorrect or not right would eventually get caught and they ARE.

The ONLY person I ever voted for was Trump the only other time I voted it was for Ross Perot, because he wanted to take our nation back. Both parties I call the uni-party were totally useless. I knew since JFK was killed we had a uni-party.

Trump ran as a republican, because third parties never win. Trump literally started a third party but everybody thinks he’s a republican.

Now tell me what you don’t like about Trump besides being  a tad unhinged to boot. I myself don’t care about his personality. All I know is somebody with BALLS would have to do SOMTHING. Did you vote for Camilla?

By the way, the Fed Reserve jerks can’t get away with it anymore, by raising rates to protect their funny money dollar. When cars were $2500 and houses were $40,000 (and silver bags were $35,000) the people could afford an 18% mortgage.

But with houses at $700k and higher, a 7% mortgage is too high, plus car loans on a $50,000 car are so high you need a 6 year loan instead of the old three year loan.

PM shares pretty anemic today. Just digesting yesterday?
