Published on Oct 2, 2016Julian Assange’s much anticipated delivery of important information concerning Hillary Clinton, expected to be given from the embassy balcony this week, has been abruptly CANCELLED by Wikileaks as of Sunday evening, citing grave security concerns. The information is still believed to be released this week via other means; a video from Assange. Is Julian Assange afraid for his life? Why was the original public nature of his announcement, from the balcony, cancelled? What kind of threat or security concern was received? And as I point out, given how the LAST Wikileaks email dump of Hillary Clinton’s communications is already plenty incriminating, what might Assange have on Hillary Clinton that is so damaging it must be delivered via video, rather than live on a well-guarded balcony?

It’s good to be a skeptic. There’s a lot of questionable info out there these days.

PS The site is what we make it. If you want to see good content here … post some.

Cheers

This site was hard go log into this morning but could read the posts. The fact that Armstrong printed it is interesting because he usually posts things that are pretty verifiable even though the MSM never mentions it. We all know the media is owned and biased both here and europe more and more like we’re living in a dictatorship state.  There was a time when things like this or the acts or terrorism would be on MSM but no more. What they can’t avoid like Florida mass killing or Oregon college they then try to spin it to gun control. So if it was found Im sure this employee may be in jeporadizing with his job. The thing that I question is how do they know they were for hillary if in closed envelopes.A poster from Oregon said they found think it was from Obama elections they found out someone dumped a bunch of envelopes from a republican area in a swamp or something. I wouldn’t put it past them and Im seeing numerous posts for Dead people registering as democrat. Armstrong put up another post about how they are setting it up to blame the Russians of Trump wins. Hillary is already blaming them on hacking even though it’s not known where it’s from. One of her own DNC workers found corruption and he was found dead a few days later.

ipso_facto and Samb, regarding the exchange you just had at 10:55 and 11;02 wondering is it true or is it not true,

I have learned to turn this question into an advantage in using the most precious commodity I own – which is TIME.  I may be the loser by missing out on useful opinion and information, but over the past two or three years now my browsing time has been greatly reduced for a very significant number of internet sites.  Unfortunately this includes sites like SGT Reports and Goldtentoasis.  My starting assumption these days  is that any link posted on these sites is suspect and that there is no great loss of useful information of one just passes over the posted link.

Sticking one’s head in the sand seems like a silly reaction, but I do get the benefit of saving precious time my not having to read poppycock.  It is unfortunate that Goldtentasis too, like many other internet sites, is faced with this weakness of the internet system of disseminating information, analysis and opinion.

Despite my streamlining of browse time of links posted on Goldtentoasis, I do still appreciate the occasional expression of investment opinion of those who post regularly on  Goldtentoasis.

well I guess the dollar is going to break out huge soon

Yeah it is a little hinky. I guess you can’t really believe it until it’s reported elsewhere. I would rather it not be true anyways.

That story is bothersome for me in that I don’t find any confirmation from Fox, NY Post or Breitbart. If true, those sites would be going to town with it.

Is it going to be a fair election?

Philippines says may not freeze all 20 mines facing suspension

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:13 on October 3, 2016

MANILA – The Philippines said on Friday it may not halt operations at all 20 mines facing suspension for environmental violations and will give them time to address problems – a softening of a tough stance that has seen 10 mines shut and a spike in nickel prices.

Asked if it was possible that not all 20 mines would be suspended, Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Regina Lopez told Reuters: “Yes, if they are able to fix whatever” needs to be fixed.

OPEC agrees to production cuts

Nobody was expecting the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to agree to cut production, even if only in principle, as it did on Wednesday last week. The group, which controls about 40% of the global oil market, did a strategy u-turn after having refused to cut output over two years of falling oil prices that saw crude sink to its lowest levels in over a decade.

Although the price responded positively to the surprising news, rallying by more than 5% on the day, the subsequent dip signalled that the market remained sceptical on the outcome actually being executed.

Some commentators, such as PwC Africa Oil and Gas Advisory leader Chris Bredenhann, view the deal with a healthy dose of scepticism, because details on what the agreement will actually entail will only be fleshed out during the group’s November meeting.

“Even then, there are still question marks around if those commitments would, in fact, be honoured,” says Bredenhann. “There is a history amongst various OPEC members of agreeing to something and not sticking to the letter of what they agreed. So, whilst an agreement may come into effect, its execution will remain questionable.”

Colombia votes NO to the peace agreement: President Juan Manuel Santos speaks

President Juan Manuel Santos has just addressed his nation on the shock “NO” result to the Colombia/FARC peace agreement. Among other things he said that as Head of State, he is the guarantor of the stability of the nation and this result will not affect the country. The cease fire agreement remains in effect and will remain in effect. Tomorrow he will invoke all political groups to listen to them and find a way forward and will re-open the dialogue with the FARC negotiators. He said he has a new opportunity to move forward and find points in common, but all must all work together in order to find a way forward. His final message was that he will not give in and will continue to work for the peace of the nation until the last day of his government.

Meanwhile, the head of the FARC spoke a few minutes before Santos addressed the nation and said that they were still committed to finding a peaceful solution and would “maintain words as their weapons”. That’s a reasonably good sign.

Finally, I just heard on Colombian radio that as soon as the tendency became clear and the momentum was with the NO side, the main player in the NO campaign, ex-president Álvaro Uribe, got in contact with all his allies in the NO campaign and told them all, “Do not celebrate this result” and told them all to pass the message down the political lines. That’s also a reasonably positive reaction, one that will make negotiations easier in the next couple of days.

Freeport Indonesia says copper mine impacted by “labour disruption”

JAKARTA, Oct 3 (Reuters) – Operations at Freeport McMoRan’s giant Grasberg open pit copper and gold mine in the Indonesian province of Papua have been “impacted by a labour disruption”, a company spokesman said on Monday.

The dispute involving around 1,000 workers began on Sept. 28, but has not affected the unit’s output of copper and gold concentrate, said Freeport Indonesia spokesman Riza Pratama.

“Underground mining operations have not been impacted and milling operations continue at a reduced rate,” Pratama said.

“The company is working to address the issues and to restore open pit mining operations as soon as possible,” he added.
