No it just it’s not a full-fledged bull market for the shares yet.
The public consists of boomers with assets who buy some PMs but primarily buy index ETFS – and the numbers are going down due to age – and younger wage earners who are trying to hit a home run with crypto.
And then there are the fringe players left to buy PMs.
PM shares and silver need to join the party and that won’t happen until stocks/crypto crash.
Young people even think they have CBDCs covered with crypto.
That bubble won’t pop until they try to sell into a programable currency situation, and they are denied.
They are not the brightest crayons in the box.

Dollar sure decided to spike. I’m surprised gold is still hanging around $3300. Silver flat is a surprise.
As we’ve been seeing for a while, these big hits to the shares are coming on low volume.
They finally got around to beating the crap out of AG – First Majestic. No real surprise there, they’ll push it back above $6 next week. Same thing with HL, it’ll be back above $5. If things weren’t so ugly in the shares, it would be above $5 today.
Hard to say if this is anything other than a normal Fed meeting reaction.
We’ll see what the Chinese say tonight.

I think you’re right. We either struggle from the start or we pop higher but get sold for the first hour.
They want that first impression to say “stay out.” We see that particularly in the shares. Lately once we get beyond the first hour things normalize a bit.
I guess AG quietly came out with earnings yesterday. Looks like they missed by a penny. The stock doesn’t know whether it’s coming or going anymore, but contrast the reaction to their miss of a penny to HL’s miss of a penny and there’s a huge difference.

The perpetual overnight dumping ( that we’ve seen so much of over the years) makes me think of the war movie “Hamburger Hill.”
It took those guys 11 days to take that hill in the Ashan Valley. Every day they would start anew, and lose a few more guys with each day.

Correction before 2-3 eastern time.

Gold silver platinum et all were taken down during the night between before 2 and 3 am. Gas oil and equity markets were up except a few indexes and dollar was up a tiny bit. Fed wants dollar up to fight inflation they caused and see people lose jobs before they cut some think they won’t cut till September and think partially to lower COLA and let them all eat cake lol. Tarriffs aren’t a true measure of inflation because it’s not printing or devaluing the dollar like them but foreign trade war. I don’t know why they call it inflation.
Trump announced a trade deal with the UK that apparently the UKs been wanting for years anyways. Brussels may be a different story and possibly more hostile. One thing I don’t blame them when they don’t want toxic food. We don’t either. It took a trade war to find out they sell us bleached chicken and they don’t want bleached chicken.

I’m sorry to repeat myself, but last night ( and early morning) action in the metals, solidifies, in my mind, that this is a financial war as well.
Perhaps the BRICS are buying up the physical in the overnight Asian hours, and then London, and then the U.S., smack it back down to send a message to the BRICS???

Up big, down big and trying to find a place to settle. No surprise for the day after a Fed meeting. Goose the SM futures and throw some grenades at pm’s. We’ve seen this happen for years.
The question is whether they can continue this all day.
Silver holding up better than gold, but neither being spanked like they were earlier. PM shares are down a little but nothing crazy in the pre market. Dollar up some with rates. Bitcoin is the big winner, closing in on $100k again. Got there quietly.
Still early, anything can happen in the next 5 hours before the open.
